Amazing trekking in Nagarkot - Unfortunately, I couldn’t see mountains because of bad weather but I can see amazing sunrise from Nagarkot. I can enjoy trekking and visit village areas where nature and birds live. The temples was interesting and I can learn culture of Nepal by my guide Shishir. Thanks.

Great sunrise hike! - The sunrise view hike was wonderful! I have never seen the sun look quite like that. The hike was also a great way to see a different part of Katmandu. Shishir was very helpful in answering all my questions!

pretty sunrise - It was smoggy but the bal of the sun rose above it and provided a pretty and colorful display. The tower at the top was a good vantage point. The hike on the way down we not difficult and it ended at a wonderful restaurant/hotel that I would like to visit separately.

Awesome experience - We had a great time. Walking around small villages, temples, and seeing how Nepali people live was a unique experience. The view from Nagarkot is breathtaking and breakfast was tasty. Madan was our guide and we couldn’t ask for someone better. Knowledgeable, approachable, and very kind. An excellent option while at Kathmandu.

Relaxing Hike with panoramic view of mountains and valleys - Although I didn’t see the sunrise and the mountains as I imagined, it was still a great experience. Pankaj my guide was kind enough to take me to another viewing spot to have a better view of the sun as it tries to shine beneath the hazy and cloudy sky. The hike was easy and very relaxing with stunning view of the valleys and towns below. I highly recommend this hike if you have limited time in Kathmandu.

No mountains, but beautiful sunrise and a great UNESCO site - We joined the Nagarkot sunrise tour hoping to see Mt Everest. We did not, no thanks to the foggy weather. However the fog made the sunrise even more beautiful and longer lasting. Our guide, Madan was very experienced and patient. After the sunrise, he walked with us downhill. I had knee pain, thus I had to walk very slowly. He waited for us patiently. Knowing that I could not be able to hike uphill, he arranged our car to take me to Changunarayan. He and my husband continued the hike to the Unesco site. He explained to my husband about the time remaining so that my husband could walk in relevant speed to Changunarayan. The highlights were witnessing the daily life of the villagers, the beautiful sunrise and the stunning Unesco site of Changunarayan. Of course we had the opportunity to taste the local breakfast. Overall, it was a wonderful trip

Nagarkot Sunrise - Did not get to see the mountains due to hazy sky but the sunrise was still beautiful. The walk downhill towards Changunarayan was easy & lovely scenery. Great to go through the small settlement areas to see how the locals live. Shishir our guide was knowledgeable and also accommodating to change the schedule so we could also see Bhaktapur as well. I would recommend this tour.
