- Mahmya Island - You will be picked up from your hotel by one of our tour guides in an air-conditioned vehicle at around 8:00 a.m. and will take you to the boat approximately 20 minutes away. You board the boat and enjoy a 40-minute boat ride to Mahmya Island. Enjoy sailing on the Red Sea under the Egyptian sun.
Mahmya Island is part of the Giftun Island National Park and lies in a beautiful landscape between the sea and the mountains . It is one of the most beautiful islands and is a perfect destination for snorkeling and diving. You will feel like you are snorkeling in a beautiful, colorful aquarium. The island has a beautiful sandy beach from which you can swim and snorkel. You also have the option of taking a small boat from the beach out to sea to explore the underwater world with the many colorful fish and beautiful reefs.
Parasols are available on the island and are ready for you. There is also a restaurant where you will also have lunch. Enjoy your stay on the island and take time to relax and swim with Caribbean feelings. In the late afternoon you go back to the boat that will take you back to the port, where a shuttle vehicle will be waiting for you and will take you back to your hotel.

Despite the name, Mahmya Island is not actually an island: it’s one section of Big Giftun Island in the Giftun Islands, off Hurghada’s Red Sea coast. Lounge on the sandy beaches; snorkel the coral reef from the beach or a boat; rent a “Sea-Spi’ glass-bottom watercraft; or eat and drink at the restaurants.

recommend Myamar Beach - The boat trip and the entire planning with three differently-speaking tour guides was absolutely well organized and successful from start to finish on Myanmar Beach. I was even allowed to steer the boat myself for a while. Snorkeling in the Red Sea was amazing and when I was no longer able to follow my snorkeling group, the guides, who were constantly watching us from their Zodiac or keeping an eye on us, lifted me into my arms and threw me a lifebuoy so that I could be safely brought back to our boat. Lunch was delicious and the welcome smoothie on the island was also super tasty. I would like to make a special mention of the nice lady on Myanmar Beach who welcomed us there and said goodbye to us afterwards. Overall, it was an absolutely successful trip that I can only recommend.

Gorgeous - This is a must see if you come to Hurghada and Sherif Tour made the best of it!!! The trip was in a very nice boat where you could choose to sit in the sun or not. All the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The snorkeling took place around corals full of different colors and shapes. You might see a lot of amazing fish. On the boat, we even saw dolphins! Mahmya is INCREDIBLE: peaceful and authentic place. The meal was delicious. You can keep the snorkeling gear until the very end of the trip to enjoy it while you are on the beach. I would definitely return if the price was lower. Don't doubt it and GO to Mahmya with Sherif Tour!!!! Too much experience in all aspects!!!

I recommend. - Paradise island visited during an excursion to Egypt. Natural site protected, no construction, no buildings or hotels, just sand and palm trees. Corals, rays and multicolored fish. In short, I recommend.

Highly Recommended - We booked a trip here in March. Highly Recommended. Beautiful beach with turquoise water. Wonderful for braising. And the staff that works there is absolutely friendly. We had a wonderful day with delicious food, great people and impressive scenery. Always my pleasure.

pleasant time - On December 8, 23 we went as a couple, picked up from the hotel to the Marina then a 45min walk to the island which is very beautiful little rest until 12 p.m. and some pretty fish right in front of our location in beachside then departure to the snorkeling site around an hour then return and meal at the restaurant with varied buffet meat fish and poultry super well presented and varied and hot.
In addition we received free choice of fins snorkel mask life vest for whoever wanted and a super nice bar with democratic price coffee coke or other soft drink in a can for less than 2€ large beer 3€ (110le) Virgin mojito without alcohol 2 .5€ (85le) you have to make people live also impeccable service and our French-speaking guide super friendly and helpful.
Consider a small tip for the services offered.
We had a great and pleasant time doing it again despite the price of €90 including maritime tax of €5

very good trip - Very good. There were 6 of us on the trip (4 adults, 2 children). We all enjoyed it a lot. The children were also well looked after. My kids were even allowed to drive the boat. The boat is a dream, the sea is bluer than any other and the island is very beautiful. The trip was worth it and we would definitely do it again.

Fantastic experience - The island was beautiful. There are no sellers or photographers here! If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the right place for you. However, I think the price is a bit overpriced. Still a clear recommendation, Fantastic experience Perfectly organized tour, professional and helpful staff. Once you arrive in Mahmya, they ask you if you want to go snorkeling, then return to Mahmya for lunch, or stay directly on the beach. I recommend staying on the beach to fully enjoy it, as there is a coral reef with lots of fish directly on the shore, so it is possible to snorkel there. Good food, unlimited, including soft drinks, from 12pm to 3pm. Super recommended tour!

Perfect - Beautiful beaches, restaurant top and sea with coral reefs near the shore and the water was crystal clear, despite this i almost stood on a sea urchin... Doh!!!
On the way out we saw a pod of 12 or more dolphins, a few of which came along side the boat, sadly the camera doesn't see what the eye sees.
On the way back we saw an amazing sunset.
