- Plantacoes de Cha Gorreana - After your pick-up, and on our way to Furnas (that takes aprox. 35min.), we will pass along the tea plantation, where you can look at the lines of tea on the landscape and make a quick stop at the Gorreana Tea Factory if you would like to purchase some tea or take a picture.

- Plantacoes de Cha Gorreana - After your pick-up, and on our way to Furnas (that takes aprox. 35min.), we will pass along the tea plantation, where you can look at the lines of tea on the landscape and make a quick stop at the Gorreana Tea Factory if you would like to purchase some tea or take a picture.
- Pico do Ferro Viewpoint - Before entering Furnas village, we do a pit stop at this viewpoint located high on the volcano mountain, so you can have a birds eye view over the Furnas valley and Furnas lake.
- Lagoa das Furnas - Here we follow along the margin of Furnas lake to get to the “Caldeiras” - the holes where the famous “cozido” dish is cooked. Here you get to see your dinner being pulled out of the ground and learn all about the cooking process.
- Poca da Dona Beija - Now is getting dark and we head to the thermal pool “Poça D. Beija” so you can enjoy a relaxing bath on the volcano heated waters. The entrance fee is included and you can enjoy the pools for 1h30, while the sky becomes dark and temperature cools down. The waters are very warm (39º degrees celsius) providing you a great relaxing time specially in Winter, as locals don’t even bath here in Summer.
- Furnas - After your thermal bath, that will build up your appetite, we head to the center of Furnas village where you will enjoy the “Cozido” at a local restaurant. The “cozido” is a staple dish in teh island, slowly cooked for 6h underground by the volcano steam and it’s build up in layers of the following ingredients: 3 types of meet, 2 types of sausage, 6 types of vegetables, all from the island. Included in your dinner are the following: 1 entrance, cozido for main dish, 1 dessert, 1 drink (wine, soft drink, water or beer).
- Caldeira das Furnas - After dinner we head to the place where you can watch the volcano volcano activity on it’s glory, with the smoking “fumaroles” and boiling waters under the starry sky, and you can taste the different mineral waters of the volcano springs. During Christmas time it is even more magical as the nativity scene is set here, a magical moment! After we end the night by driving back to your accommodation (aprox. 35 min.)

Having dinner after the bath ensures good digestion and a restful sleep, unlike the usual tour order, which is not digestion-friendly. Conclude the evening by marveling at the captivating geysers under the starry night sky before returning to your accommodation.
