Incredible hot food staff in kiosk! - Excellent few hours at the castle. It’s changed a lot since my last visit a few years ago. Some brilliant changes including the new birds of prey area and beach! The castle experience was very different too, very good but I missed the rear access via the cellars! The new lodges by the lake look lovely! We came during Halloween half term so it was very busy. The Kiosk staff in hot food deserve a massive shout out and bonus as they were terrificly busy serving well over 100 orders in a matter of hours, all with a smile on their face, especially the young chef who did amazing! A credit to the castle! The gift shop is expensive it’s actually dearer than Buckingham Palace’s! Some lovely gifts thou The audio guides are a great idea!

Disappointing for inclusion - The place is wonderful but I was so disappointed with the lack or rather non-existence of vegan food and treats. I had to refuse him an ice - cream when the family were having theirs, the same for the options in the cafeteria. very sad.

Disappointing - I must say I was some what disappointed with Leeds Castle. I will say it was an awful day weather wise but none the less the castle tour was very average. It was very much geared up for children & the Christmas experience at the castle which it seemed the kids were loving. From our point of view who were interested in the history of the castle it was very disappointing. Considering no family live at the castle & it’s run by a trust there really was very little open. Only 2 bedrooms seen, no bathrooms no kitchens or servants quarters. No plaques outside each room saying anything about the rooms etc etc. I would have also thought there might be some photographs of the last owners using the rooms & sharing who they hosted there. The grounds are extensive & on a nice day with kids you could easily lose your day I’m sure.

Poorly decorated - We decided to go see Leeds castle for the Halloween experience and wasn't impressed no decoration not even afew pumpkins although there was characters but that was it. All I was thinking when going around was I would love to decorate this beautiful castle and it's grounds to make the event better.

Very disappointing as i paid for it all and she was absent, not good enough, 2 coffees I aero, £9.40, not seating area, all soaking wet, not and enjoyable visit, in the castle, a Chinese lady having a go at a lady, because the Chinese ladies child kept pushing and shuving making an issue if you said anything, all in all not an enjoyable visit!

Huge disappointment this year - Went for the Nutcracker experience which compared with last years Lion , Witch & The Wardrobe experience was a huge disappointment. Last year was fantastic the whole castle was decorated with loads of character interaction. This year not a great deal of decoration and hardly any character interaction. Castle refreshments hugely overpriced £3.20 for a small bottle of Coke and £4.00 for a small portion of fries. The food/drink stalls within the castle grounds are a complete rip off. £4.50 for a hot chocolate, £12 for a burger and it seemed £6 was a minimum for anything else. I appreciate food prices have increased but these prices are even more expensive than London. If you have young children it could be a very expensive day out with not a lot of reward. I wish I could be more positive but a huge disappointment this year and food and drink prices a complete rip off

Waste of money, completely overpriced - Very disappointing and vastly overpriced. Grounds are nice but castle itself underwhelming. Go to Warwick Castle if you get the chance far far superior, much more to see and do, so don’t waste your money here. Also Leeds is viewed as a cash cow I mean £2 for a Kit Kat ? Behave !!

Waste of time and money - I’ll never forget my visit to this attraction for all the wrong reasons. My 2yo son left in tears because of an antiquated policy not to let wheeled “toys” in to the grounds due to health and safety. It’s a balance bike. He’s 2 years old. What a joke. Waste of money, best avoid.

Poor organisation - Won’t be going back to the fireworks now, we have been every year and go early to make sure we get the main car park but now we’ve had to go in the furthest car park for the past 3 years. Not doing it anymore. This years fireworks weren’t great either. We should be able to have the choice which car park to be in, especially if you can not walk that far. Huge disappointment now, so will stop going there.
