A great day of local wines and tasting - Had a fun day trying several different types of local wines along with a great stop for lunch. They picked us up at our hotels and made it so easy.

Must do! - We were staying in Frankfurt and it was an easy train ride to Mainz. We were picked up at the train station with no trouble. The tour itself was fun, educational and we tasted a lot of great wines. We went to different locations and were able to see a lot of the region. If you’re interested in wines, I highly recommend taking this tour.

Wine tasting trip - Jerome was very friendly and very knowledgeable on the subjects we were interested in. One winery backed out suddenly and Jerome was able to make a phone call and quickly get us lined up with another tasting. We would definitely recommend him to others.

Interesting and Unique Wine Tour - This was a great tour of the Rheingau valley wines. Jerome was very knowledgeable and showed us three very unique spots. We learned so much about German wine and more specifically Riesling. We highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful trip, beautiful sites, knowledgeable guide - This was a wonderful tour. Jerome picked us up and then we visited several places for wine tasting in the Rheingau area, both well-know places as well as a private visit to one of the vineyards. Jerome is very knowledgeable and lets you experience different types of Riesling with different tastes. One could find out what you like and like less. There is opportunity to purchase wines at the different sites, but absolutely no pressure.

Wonderful day of wine with Jerome of BottleStops! - Three wine loving couples were travelling together on a river cruise that stopped in Mainz. We were very fortunate to find Jerome of BottleStops! He was waiting at our docking place early and off we went. Enjoyed his insights of the region, the history/tour of the Abbey and the stops he selected for our 3 tastings. He had to make an adjustment the day of our tour since 1 winery was unable to receive us that day. Jerome was able to secure a new stop within a short time. All stops had lots of variety and delicious wines. Several bottles of wine were purchased at each location using his recommendations. We'll done Jerome! We all enjoyed our day immensely!

Fabulous time with BottleStops! - We had a fabulous time with Jerome / BottleStops. Excellent communication when we booked the tour and also in setting up the logistics to pick us up. Jerome was so knowledgeable about the area and the various wines we tested. If I visited the area again, I would definitely book another tour with Jerome / BottleStops!

Memorable and Fun - This was the very first tour my husband and I joined during our Germany trip. It absolutely set the standard. Jerome was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and a pleasure to have as company. The stops and wine were unique and exciting. I can’t recommend this tour enough.

Very interesting day in Rheingau - I was on a vacation in Germany and wanted to taste some German wines, so I booked this trip, and all I can say is that I was very satisfied. I together with 6 other tourists visited the Rheingau area, learned quite a lot about the area and tasted 15 or 16 different wines during the trip. Before the trip, I knew very little about German wine, after the trip I know somewhat more. And Jérôme is a very pleasant guide. I can only recommend this trip!

Lots of walking and history. - Fabulous visit to the Monastery. Also loved the visit to the wineries at the amazing lunch spot. We didn't know there was going to be so much walking, so suggest you remind guests to wear comfortable walking shoes. :) Jerome is a historian and extremely knowledgeable, but it was too much history to digest for what we thought was a wine tour. To be honest, our impromptu questions were unwelcome. Jerome told us to just wait and listen. Not the friendliest response. All and all, a great tour, especially for those wanting the details of the history of the Monastery.
