Memorable and Fun - This was the very first tour my husband and I joined during our Germany trip. It absolutely set the standard. Jerome was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and a pleasure to have as company. The stops and wine were unique and exciting. I can’t recommend this tour enough.

Winery Tour - Jérôme was absolutely fantastic! This tour was the perfect blend of history, culture, and incredible wine. We got an authentic look into the local culture and learned so much about the area from Jérôme, who is a true local. The small group made the experience even more personal, and the comfortable van made exploring the area a breeze. Jérôme answered all of our questions and even recommended some great spots to visit outside of the tour, like the Gutenberg Museum. I highly recommend Jérôme and his tours—one of the best I’ve ever been on!

Two excellent events - What a fantastic start to our German holiday. We met Jerome at the appointed place and he took us to a wine cellar 4 floors down inside a cliff face. All together, we were a group of 10 wine enthusiasts who wanted to learn about German wines. After sampling German Sekt as a starter, we progressed though another 5 types of wine from the Rheinhessen area. The various German wine producing districts were explained as well as the production methods. We could ask Jerome any question we wanted from wine making history to international distribution and he was able to competently answer all of them. Next day we met at the arranged meeting point and we were taken in a climatized mini-bus to a 13th centaury monastery. Jerome took us on a tour of the abbey where “The Name of the Rose” was filmed and explained the history of the estate before starting on our wine tasting event. From there we were taken to an old distillery which had been converted to a winery where our wine tasting continued accompanied by a unique and delicious lunch. Our last wine tasting stop was a functioning vineyard, where we sampled the last 5 wines of our Rheingau tour. We’ve read the positive reviews of Jerome’s wine tasting tours and we can only say that they were not over exaggerated. Our host was knowledgeable, witty, friendly and communicative. We had a tremendous experience and we can only recommend Jerome further.

Fantastic Rhine Valley wine tour - We had a fantastic time with Jerome. He provided so much knowledgeable information about the beautiful areas we visited, and took us to some fantastic wineries and a fun tasting room. I especially enjoyed our visit to Braunewell where we got a great look at the winemaking process. I highly recommend this tour!

Very interesting day in Rheingau - I was on a vacation in Germany and wanted to taste some German wines, so I booked this trip, and all I can say is that I was very satisfied. I together with 6 other tourists visited the Rheingau area, learned quite a lot about the area and tasted 15 or 16 different wines during the trip. Before the trip, I knew very little about German wine, after the trip I know somewhat more. And Jérôme is a very pleasant guide. I can only recommend this trip!

Lots of walking and history. - Fabulous visit to the Monastery. Also loved the visit to the wineries at the amazing lunch spot. We didn't know there was going to be so much walking, so suggest you remind guests to wear comfortable walking shoes. :) Jerome is a historian and extremely knowledgeable, but it was too much history to digest for what we thought was a wine tour. To be honest, our impromptu questions were unwelcome. Jerome told us to just wait and listen. Not the friendliest response. All and all, a great tour, especially for those wanting the details of the history of the Monastery.

A day’s wine tasting. - The wine tasting was very good. The emphasis was on the huge variety of Reisling wines vintages thereabouts. In spite of the rain the Ebernach Closter was beautiful. The guide Jerome was interesting and knowledgeable.
