- Ston - Next, we’ll visit the charming town of Ston, known for its historic city walls and the oldest salt factory in Europe. The walls of Ston are the longest fortress system in Europe, stretching for over 5,5 kilometers (remaining of the original 7 kilometers), and they were built in the 14th century to protect the town from invaders. We’ll take a break here to explore the walls and learn about the history and culture of this fascinating town.
- Mali Ston - After visiting Ston, we will go to the bay of Mali Ston and experience the irresistible taste of oysters, a delicacy that has been cherished for centuries. Tracing its roots back to the Roman period, oyster farming has been an integral part of Mali Ston Bay. Can you go wrong with oysters and wine? - Picked up at our hotel on time. Made room in the front for my wife. Excellent lowdown about the day to come, including interesting background info and history . So, the ride was great, the dialogue was great, and then the wine tour, trip to Ston, oysters, mussels and more wine were even better. Marco did a great job.

Oyster Farm and Touring Croatia with Marko! - Our tour with Marko to the Oyster Farm was amazing. The whole experience was so interesting, fun and delicious! The fresh oysters and mussels were so good accompanied by tasty Grappa! Everyone was so friendly and nice. We can’t recommend this tour WITH MARKO enough! Every tour we did with him he went above and beyond making our whole trip in Croatia a great adventure in sights and restaurants! Our trip would not have been anywhere as wonderful if we didn’t have Marko!!

Unforgettable Oyster Farm Tour with Stunning Views - I had an incredible experience on the oyster farm tour. Marko is a fantastic tour guide. He was more like a friend or family member as he brought us around to the places he knows and loves. As far as the oyster tour, the whole experience was well-organized, and the guides were knowledgeable and passionate about oyster farming. I learned so much about the process and even got to taste some of the freshest oysters I've ever had. The stunning views of the blue and green brackish waters added to the charm of the trip. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Croatia!

Oysters, Wine Tasting, Fish of the Day, the Best Company, and Korcula - This is our second time doing a very similar tour with Marko and we came back for a reason. His authenticity is something that moves us. He isn’t out to make the quickest dollar any way he can, he is a kind human who genuinely cares about people and loves to guide people to an authentic experience in his incredible home country of Croatia. We have loved every second of each tour and the oysters are a specifically special highlight. From the beautiful landscapes, to the boat ride out to the platform with wine and fresh oysters, and being educated on the process of the oyster farming- the whole experience is amazing. I would go on this tour and any tour again and again. Good people- the world needs more of them :)

Oyster Farm and Tasting…An absolute must! - Fantastic experience . We all learned so much and especially enjoyed the tasting.
Marko is so much more than a guide. He treats you like long lost family and makes sure everyone is involved and included.
Make sure take time to have lunch in Trstenik. Marko knows his restaurants!

Oyster Farm/Winery/Lunch - Marko’s knowledge of the area and connections with the other people along this trip made it so much fun. We could not believe the views and experiences we we treated to. It was our favorite part of our entire two week trip!

Top highlight from one oyster fan and one non oyster fam :) - I’m writing this review at the end of my trip, and I’m happy I waited because both my husband and I agree it was one of the TOP highlights of our two week trip throughout Croatia. Marko picked us up in Dubrovnik and took us on a scenic drive to Mali Ston and Ston. On the way he drove us to a lovely lookout point and pointed out many islands to us and snapped a few photos for us. When we arrived in Ston we hopped on a boat out to the platform to learn about oyster farming. The boat ride was gorgeous! After arriving at the platform Peter welcomed us with some local snacks and wine. He was very informative on the practices and methods of oyster farming (I had no idea it took so long!). He answered all questions and prepared the freshest oysters for us. Lucky for me my husband doesn’t really eat seafood so I was able to enjoy a lot of them. We opted not to have mussels (again because it was just me) so Peter prepared anchovies for me. I was a little nervous because I’ve not had anchovies I like but these were the BEST I’ve ever had and now I routinely look for them on the menu. We finished with some walnut grappa made by Peter’s family and wow-delicious! We are both so grateful Marko organized this for us. Don’t hesitate to reach out to him for customized itineraries. Instead of taking a ferry from Dubrovnik to Korčula we had him take us to the oyster farm and a few wineries and coordinate a boat taxi from Orebić to Korčula. (Also one of our favorite island transfers!). Cannot recommend Marko enough.

Small Group, 3 couples, oyster farm, small vineyard and Mali Ston. - Guide picked us up at hotel, took us in a great vehicle to all private experiences.
The oyster farm was such a great and delicious time!
Vineyard was wonderful. It was like visiting a friend that took you around introducing you to their friends.
Highly recommend this friendly and accommodating guide!
