Highlights
  • Pokrivenik - Our tour starts in Makarska with a 35-minute panoramic cruise to our first stop, Veliki Pokrivenik bay on Hvar island.
It is one of the lesser-known and visited bays on Hvar island, decorated with impressive cliffs, beautiful pebble beaches and one hidden cave. What better way to explore this hidden treasure than while snorkelling. If snorkelling is not your thing, you can soak up the sun and the surrounding rocky landscape.
  • Mala Stiniva - Our next stop is Mala Stiniva bay, a picturesque stone bay with cliffs that vertically drop to the sea below. It is a stunning sight and a place that leaves no one indifferent. The sea is crystal-clear, and the cliffs are a great cliff-jumping spot.
  • Jelsa - After enjoying some swimming and snorkelling fun in Mala Stiniva bay, we head to Jelsa town. In Jelsa you will have some free time for a coffee or to go sightseeing. Jelsa is an ancient town on Hvar island with numerous historical monuments that speak about its rich history.
  • Hvar Island - Opposite Jelsa town, only a short cruise away is our next stop, the islet of Zečevo. Zečevo is an unpopulated islet in the archipelago of Hvar and it is protected as a significant landscape. It prides itself on untouched nature and crystal-clear turquoise seas. It is a perfect spot for snorkeling. There is also a beach bar that you can visit if you want to wind down a bit.

Good snorkeling spots, great people - I booked this trip for my wife and I on our honeymoon and it was a lot of fun. Our skipper was a great host. I lost my glasses when jumping from a cliff and forgot I had them on. After a failed attempt to find them with my snorkeling goggles, I gave up. He ended up finding them on his afternoon tour by diving around and looking for them. Promare boat charter gave me a call that evening and I was able to go pick them up! Awesome people to work with.

Wonderful remote places to snorkel - Wonderful wonderful experience!! Shout out to our skipper Mario who was super knowledgeable about the areas and took us to remote places to snorkel and cliff jump. He provided snorkels too and some great tunes. Thank you very much from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Simply incredible - We booked this tour one night before because our original excursion for that day was cancelled. We were very positively surprised by this excursion we chose in a very short notice. The skipper, Mario, was a professional, very nice and knew his things. Fantastic trip, I definitely recommend!

So far okay - The view was beautiful, beautiful photos could be taken. By chance we could see dolphins. My opinion on the trip , it lacks a little communication during the tour to learn where we actually are. Our skipper was nice and helpful. Despite the beautiful view, I find the price over the internet too expensive. 80 € per person / on site the price is 75 € . For a lower price we would want to drive more often.

Really nice boat trip from Makarska to good swimming spots - Really nice boat trip to some great places where you can jump in the sea and splash around a little. The boat is not fully covered so expect the need for sunscreen and sun hat. Bring yourself snacks and drinks. There is a stop at Jelsa where you have time for an ice cream or to buy drinks. The only downside was that the sailing to the areas to be visited took just 45 minutes and there could be a high lake, despite the very quiet waters inside Makarska itself. I would recommend the trip, just obs that you should be a little strong 😉 We had children 7 and 10 years old who had a party.

Great for a short trip but not the best stop times - Lovely and attentive tour guide, and beautiful places to jump off the boat and explore some of Hvar. The stops were beautiful and speedboat was great but personally felt badly timed for the time we left… We were dropped off at the beach bar by 9am- and left to to explore the beach as none of this was open for 40 minutes - this should have been the last stop? Jelsa - had the most to offer and we only had 30 minutes in this location which maybe should’ve been longer, but it wasn’t busy and nice to walk around! The snorkel spots were lovely, equipment all provided - some tropical fish to see but not a lot else as the water was pretty deep - would’ve been nice to have been able to get to the beach front near the cave to see a bit more in the timeframe. Water was provided if needed :) For the price it was okay at best - I would say 3-4 stars, 4 stars as our host was lovely!
