A must experience for everyone - Everyone should experience Villa Escudero at least once. It is a fun relaxed day. We enjoyed the lunch at the water with the waterfall. Food was good. Waiters were very helpful. It’s good having water shoes for stability in the water. We enjoyed the show afterwards Very much. Although we did not look at the opportunities for children we noted that there were those kinds of entertainment. They for sure will enjoy the water buffalo ride. I visited in 2007, and it was good to revisit this unique place. Eileen from Minnesota

Respite from it all - Great time riding carabao cart with a group singing filipino folk song. Lunch in their man made falls soaking ur feet while eating. Nice facilities with entertainment at dinner time. Highly recommended for balikbayans as well as foreign guests. Quite expensive for an average income family.

Overall Experience - The local quide Nori opened up Philippine history book! He's very knowledgeable. And the van driver was very good & kept us safe. Lunch buffet was good with soaked feet in the water, cultural show was very entertaining & the carabao ride was so much fun with the seranade! The museum was interesting & rafting was awesome!

This was a very special experience, if you can do it! - This truly was unique. Didn't know what to expect. The pictures don't do it justice, we had a blast using the bamboo rafts, eating by the waterfalls.. so unique. We didn't the included culture show. instead we went to the 18 and up pool for 2 hours and relaxed. Didn't know that was a part of the deal. Recommend getting a locker for 100 pesos. Statues and museum was a little creepy to be honest. The trip to the plantation was long but you got to see the local life. I wouldn't have had that chance if not this tour. Go do it!

My only area of growth for this tour is to allow much more time in the museum with more specific information being shared or a guide that seems really interested in answering what is important to that particular client.
My company guide was excellent, the water buffalo ride is unique, the lunch near the dam is invigorating, and the ability to take photos around the grounds none in museum, unfortunately was excellent. I recommend this for couples or individuals that love vast religious collections.

Just OK - We go by ourselves using a private car. The place is self is OK, nothing extraordinary. The cultural show is just ok too - traditional dance and sing. The buffet lunch also just ok, not much variety and additional charge for drinks like coconut water. The pool is quite small. The best part probably the rafting. So consider the time required to go and back to Manila (around 3-4 hours), it's not something that make it a MUST visit place.

That was obviously not part of the tour at all. Everything was very very touristic and you have to pay for a lot of things extra (e.g. drinks at lunch). Moreover you are expected to tip the employees at the museum, the musician, the waiters, ... As the tour itself was very expensive, I did not have the feeling that this was appropriate.

The water buffalos were treated awfully bad!

All in all, I would consider it as a waste of time and money and did not feel comfortable during this time at all. Therefore, I do not recommend this tour.
