Fabulous Tour - Superbly knowledgeable guide, very thorough tour and fabulous value. Background info provided gave us a terrific understanding of current and former culture that no one else off our cruise ship was aware of. A wonderful tour and highly recommended.

Hassan was a great guide for our day in Male. Highly recommend. - We enjoyed a wonderful tour with Hassan seeing the highlights of Male.he was knowledgeable, professional, courteous and very respectful of our wishes of how long to spend at different locations. We enjoyed the National Art gallery, the parliament building, the Sultan park, the fruit and vegetable market, the fish market, the sting rays at the harbour, a Masala tea and a bus ride on the local bus! What a fabulous tour with Hassan and lots of great photos!

Male Maldives culture tour - Mr. Hassan gave an excellent tour of the history and culture of this beautiful area. There was a ferry ride to the nearby Island of Villingili. Mr Hassan shared recent as well as older history of both Villingili and Male. Hukuru Miskiy, the markets also wonderful (with fresh fruit to sample and purchase), Sultan Park were my favorites. When I travel I wish to experience the rich culture and respect where I am. This tour was wonderful as experiencing the true culture as it is my goal. At the end I was able to also go to a fantastic souvenir shop and purchase amazing gifts for friends and family. Thank for a wonderful experience.

Fun wall though the city - We had some time to wait before our fight from Male so we booked this tour to see the city and learn about what life is like in the Maldives. This tour did a great job at both things. We got to we the important place in Male and had some great conversations about what it is like to live in the city of Male and the country of the Maldives. We got to learn about the history and culture of the Maldives. We are very glad we booked this walking tour and enjoyed it very much.

Best way to explore Male - We had several hours to kill between arriving back from our holiday atoll and our flight and the tour of Male with Hassan was the perfect way to spend this time! Great local insights, contrasting facets of the modern city and key historical buildings (the unesco heritage listed old Friday mosque with its coral stone, teak and sandalwood carvings is a must see!), tasty treats at the fruit market… There was plenty for young and old(er) to enjoy! Thank you Hassan!

An aide to better understanding Maldives culture - The guide was lovely and as the day was exceptionally hot (even for Male!) conducted a large part of the tour via car trip. We got out and walked at key places. Historical sites are limited as Maldives is a fairly new independent nation, but we saw all of the significant sites and memorials. Our tour lasted only 2 hours due to the car use, but was worth doing. If I'm honest I felt we'd overpaid a little for the content and duration, but we enjoyed the day and learnt some things which was important to us to do. The initial meet was confusing as the guide did not have a sign which we had been told they would have, we were actually stood a few feet apart for about half an hour before we realised each was waiting for the other!
