- Malahat Skywalk - Immerse yourself in pristine nature: a steep, forested mountain, high above the Salish Sea. Ascend the spiral ramp to peak adventure. At 250 m above sea level, the tower offers some of the best views on Vancouver Island, including a sweeping panorama of Mt. Baker, Finlayson Arm, the Saanich Peninsula, and islands in two countries. Explore the West Coast from a whole new perspective and then choose your descent with a return walk down the ramp or take the fast route on our Spiral Slide. The arbutus, or Pacific madrone, appears wonderfully exotic with its smooth chartreuse wood covered by reddish, papery bark. It grows on rocky coastlines and, in spring, bears white flowers that smell like honey. In autumn, red berries help feed many of the local birds and wildlife. Coming down from the tower on the 20 metre spiral slide might be the only thing as awesome as the view from the top. Go ahead, take as many turns as you like

One look at the Malahat SkyWalk’s sweeping views and visitors are instantly in awe. The striking 10-story spiral tower brings guests 250 m above sea level to take in 360-degree sightlines of islands, fjords, forests and mountains. Leading to the tower, the 600 m elevated walkway places guests among the soaring treetops of the west coast’s Arbutus and Douglas Firs. And thrillseekers can traverse the net at the top of the SkyWalk and fly down the “Insta-famous” spiral slide within the tower. Local hot and cold bevvies and snacks from the Café can be enjoyed in a number of picturesque seating spaces.
Located just 35 minutes from Victoria, this classic Island experience can be enjoyed by all ages and is wheelchair and stroller accessible.

September '24 visit - Do not miss this, it's spectacular. Amazing structures and fantastic slide. Lots of information everywhere and beautiful art. Luke's Lane was a lovely walk back. All the staff members were really pleasant and helpful. Great value, great amenities, great food & drinks.
The clouds came in along with the rain but it didn't spoil our visit at all.
Brilliant, cannot over praise this.

Fun! - What a wonderful structure ! Easy to walk up to the top platform. The view is spectacular! The ride down the slide was a lot of fun! (I’m 68 years old by the way)
The free shuttle bus from Victoria was an added bonus
All in all a great experience!

Amazing experience - Fun place to visit with family, recommend to take Luke trail, fun for kids to get first letter of the words to get whole word.

Convenient & beautiful views - The shuttle was super convenient picking up right near the Hotel Grand Pacific. The views from the SkyWalk were superior and the slide was a delight! Great way to spend 3 hours.

Didn’t want to leave! - This place is awesome. Everything is very well done. Beautiful blend of nature, history, and tourism. Interactive activities while waiting for the slide, scavenger hunt on the hike, games to play on the boardwalk. And of course the slide is hilarious and fun. The value for the price paid is unreal. Free shuttle? Come on. Allow lots of time because you’ll want to stay all day!

A close Encounter with a Beautiful Nature of Malahat - I could have been extra special if I went to Malahat SkyWalk with my family of friends, yet even so, I did really enjoy the view, the experience for going down the slide and most specially the nature and of course the free shuttle.
I absolutely recommend this to tourists, visitors and locals.
If I would be given a chance to, I would go back with my family!
It was an enjoyable experience with the nature!

Great family adventure. - Great family event/ location. What a gem to see and do. Easy walk to the top of a giant circular platform with a slide back to the bottom. Fun for the whole family. We were able to see whales from the top of the platform. It’s about 30/45 minutes from the city and worth the drive.

Great but long drive - It’s a gorgeous view and daughter bought the fast pass for the slide and went 8 times. Definitely worth the money otherwise you wait an hr or more to slide. If you only have 5 hrs on a day trip to Victoria this takes the entire time due to the shuttle ride. We weren’t able to do anything else.
