Madakaripura Waterfall - You will be picked up in Surabaya at 09:30. That can be anywhere as longs as it is in the city.

You will need about 3 hours to reach Cemara Lawang village, as it is not the distance, but Java’s traffic conditions that will slow you down.

On route from Surabaya to Cemara Lawang village you will visit the enchanting Madakaripura waterfalls. These waterfalls are a hidden treasure and holy to the local Tengger Hindu people.

Once the car parked it is a 15 min motorbike ride (with driver) to the entrance of the waterfall. From the entrance it is an fairly easy 30 min walk one way. But, be ready to get wet.

Once can only visit the waterfalls when it isn’t raining of hasn’t been raining heavily as then the water flow off the waterfall is too dangerous to get near.
