The PADI professional instructors at WaterColors will give you the best introduction to this popular and exciting watersport.
Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. While not a scuba certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.
To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.

- May be operated by a multi-lingual guide (inquire on availability per course)
- Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended.
- All participants heights MUST be advised at time of booking
- All participants weights MUST be advised at time of booking
- This is an experience program and not a certification course.
- Access to the DSD eLearning thru link to mobile eLearning on the PADI App (recommended)
- Or access to the DSD eLearning thru link to web based eLearning
- Accomplish and sign required PADI documentations in the DSD eLearning thru either of the above links.
- All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving thru the DSD eLearning. Once done, please print and bring with you to WaterColors.

WaterColors Boracay Dive Resort
Meet at the dive resort next to Balabag Plaza, Station 1, no later than chosen start time (whether 8:30 am or 1 pm). No shows within 15 minutes from start time will be moved to next session based on availability and will encur a PHP 1000 surcharge per person.

Amazing Scuba Diving Experience - Had an amazing experience. Jimmy was a great instructor and guide, he really briefed us about the equipment and safety protocols well. The dive with him was also incredible as he made sure to make us feel comfortable and safe. Would highly recommend.
The place too was extremely clean and well kept for post dive shower etc.
Would highly recommend.

Don't hold your breath. This is great! - What a nice introduction to diving. We were in very safe hands with Jimmy and he was patient too while showing us the colors of the local coral garden. Good materials and the boat pick up is not too far, overall big value and good fun. Johannes

First time diving - Awesome half day doing the Discovery scuba diving session with Jimmy. He was very patient especially when the initial first time nerves kicked in. Experiencing the under water world diving was a truly unique experience - so much marine and fish life to see. I highly recommend Jimmy - you will be in safe hands and assured to have an enjoyable experience.

Scuba guru found in WaterColors Boracay - There's a reason why WaterColors Scuba diving has ZERO negative review. I have nothing but praise and positive words. No frills, no BS selling like what you see around station 2.
First off, Jimmy is the ONLY dive instructor you should consider if you're in Boracay. He was my first ever dive instructor when my boyfriend and I took our Open water certificate back in May 2023, after that I met over 5 other dive masters while traveling in different parts of the Philippines and Thailand. I kid you not, the level of professionalism and care Jimmy has to his students after comparing it to others is so different.
We came back to get our Advance open water and specifically ask for him. He gave me the opportunity to relearn things I might have missed, he's incredibly attentive underwater which made me feel very safe. I've struggled with anxiety underwater because it can really be terrifying, but he taught me not to overthink and trust that there are safe ways to navigate through diving.
Jimmy has over 5000 dives under his belt. He's encouraging to new divers, doesnt overcomplicate things and teaches you to enjoy the experience. You need someone to make sure you come out of the water alive, and I can guarantee you, your best bet is with this guy. I can't wait to bring friends and family to Watercolors!

Amazing first scuba diving experience - We had the most incredible experience with Discover Scuba Diving at Watercolor Boracay! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Our instructor, Jimmy, was absolutely phenomenal—so patient, knowledgeable, and reassuring. As a first-time diver, I was initially nervous, but Jimmy made me feel completely at ease with his calm demeanor and thorough explanations.
The underwater world he introduced us to was breathtaking—vibrant coral reefs, colorful fish, and crystal-clear waters. Jimmy’s guidance throughout the dive made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. His passion for diving and marine life was infectious and added so much value to the experience.

Discover Scuba Diving - I tried Discover Scuba Diving, and it was a great experience. Jimmy, the instructor, was very friendly and helpful. He explained everything clearly, so I felt comfortable. The dive was amazing, and he showed us some beautiful places underwater. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it.

Really good experience - This was my fisrt diving experience ever. The instructor was very kind and helful to teach the instruction.
We had a practice session before dinvind deep, and that made me very releif.
The sea was clear and saw many kinds of ocean livings that made feel like in aquarium.
I feel to come again once vising boracay.

Amazing experience - Amazing experience! It was my first time trying diving and couldn’t have picked a better partner to do it with. Jimmy and Jun were amazing throughout and made the experience into one of the most memorable one. Will definitely come again.

Jimmy is the best reach ever ! - Jimmy is amazing ! Professional, humor, and very helpful. I have license but haven’t dived for a while. He taught me again how to install and check everything. He gave me opportunities to practice my skills. I enjoyed a lot !
