Amazing experience - The trip to Taman Negara one of the best of my staying in Malaysia and the best of my life. We did a one day trip from Kuala Lumpur but I would suggest to stay 1 or 2 days there. We were picked up very early in the morning from our driver Janar, one of the most decent person I have ever met. Everything was very professional. It was a pleasure to have met him. He was very helpful during the whole trip, providing us information and lovely discussions. A big THANK YOU from the heart for everything.

Funny - Really fun excursion that I really recommend to do when in Malaysia. Nice nature, very exciting to see the jungle, go limbo and meet the tribal people in the village. All the guides were very nice and friendly. The driver Emjay who picked us up was very nice, spoke good English, generous with providing information about the excursion, how it is going and about the beautiful nature that we saw on the way. We really recommend him.

Long but very fun day - A long but very fun and informative day! The drive is about 8 hours round trip, so be prepared with snacks, drinks, etc to keep yourself comfortable on the road trip. Once we got to the Taman Negara area, we met with the rest of our group for the afternoon (6 of us total) and boarded a boat to cross the river into the National Park. After getting off the first boat ride, you walk up into a courtyard where there’s a souvenir shop and a resort lobby before walking through the resort grounds to the canopy walk trailhead. It’s a bit of a climb but the path is manicured for the most part so you’re not completely hiking through the jungle. The canopy walk is very safe and has great views. Overall, the trek out to the park was a bit long but I would say is definitely worth it.

Great Daytrip to the Forrest - Our driver was very punctual and reliable. He kept us updated on our whereabouts and was in general very nice. Communication with him was easy, even on the day before the trip. The trip to the National Park was the Highlight of our trip. Please note that the tour includes a trek witch I found very demanding especially in the humid weather. Also bring a change of clothes, you’re going to get soaked on the ride back which is very refreshing after that kind of tour. It’s a rather expansive tour, but it’s a good value. I can recommend booking it.

Recommended day tour to get first impressions on Malaysian rain forests - Very well organized and communicated tour. Pick up and transport with MJ was easy and reliable. Stunning views and fascinating impressions of Malaysian forest nature. First summit hike was basically following man made steps. Proceeding to second view point on nature path. You need to be height-proof for subsequent canopy walk. It is an amazing experience to be at 30+ meters in the trees. Lunch was nice but lunch break of 2 hours quite long. At first I missed a bit of learning information from our tour guide on the jungle trecking. But in the aboriginal village he shared a lot of interesting information about how people live with the forest. Finally "rapid shooting" was only intended to make the whole group as wet as possible. So ensure your belongings and exchange clothes are truly waterproof stored. Overall a recommended day tour to get first impressions on Malaysian rain forests. No spotting of wildlife on our tour.

Great views! - The views were very pretty 😍 wilderness surrounding you from every angle. Our driver MJ was waiting for us ahead of time to make sure we didn't miss anything. Also made sure we didn't get wet when it was raining by bringing the car where we were having lunch.

Fun experience, too long journey - Overall the tour was fun and exciting, the guide and chauffeur were both very skilled and experienced (even though he speeded through most of the way there and back, which felt unsafe at times). They were good at handling tourist, and managed the english language in the extent needed for the guided tour. The big complaint to consider before going was the proportions of the “day trip” that was spent ant the actual location. The drive over to Taman Negara was approximately 3 hours and the time spent in the rainforest about 5 hours. It was a short day for a long trip. We suggest that the description should further explain the width of the journey. The prices for the activities included in the package price were a tenth of the price of the total trip, meaning that the long, private transfer is what cranked the price up. Rather than doing the package, you should consider going there by train or bus and staying overnight in the park. You would get plenty more value and freely get to explore the area.
