Fun for everyone - The gardens are huge with something for everyone! Offering fantastic views of the hinterland from the many look out points, plenty of photo opportunities from the large deck chair to the boat that you can freely step on and off from. If the walking is something that puts you off you can rent a buggy to get around on and boost your experience. The aviary itself is host to a great many species of feathered friend with knowledgable staff to guide you through it's a must do activity there (don't worry if you're not keen on birds they provide feather dusters which keeps them from landing on you). There is also a small farm which hosts a number of goats, sheep, donkey's and chickens. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for something to do. Prices are fair and will not leave you feeling short changed

Beautiful birds - If you're a bird lover you have to go here. The staff are great and try to make the experience as best as possible. The park is relatively small, and the gardens are nice, but the bird experience was the best i ever had. This was such a great way to see many of Australias birds up close. Birds are literally everywhere. Note, don't wear jewelry or hats with buttons if you can avoid it. This is close to Australia zoo so you could make a day and do both

Great day taking photos - Had a great day today taking some photos of the birds and the gardens, took way to many photos to post them all on here though.

So many birdies!!! - This was a great way to spend the afternoon! The guide for the Bird Tour was passionate and knowledgeable about the all the birds and keeping them safe. There was lots of opportunities to take photos and interact with the birds. Love it! Plus!! The miniature farm friends section was sooo fun to feed and pat the Donkey’s and goats!

Worth a visit - Incredible views, great gardens. The farm animals were a bit much jumping up on us as soon as they saw the food. The birds were beautiful and a great experience to see so close. Would recommend but watch little children in the farm area.

Interactive - The aviary can only be accessed by tour. Whilst it was great to see all of the birds and have opportunities to interact with them, I was seeking a more educational experience and wanted to learn more about the birds. Limited information was provided by the guide on the birds but I think it would have been too difficult for her to provide a detailed commentary of the different birds given the size of the group, the noise, there’s not enough time and not all of the audience may be interested. There were no information plaques anywhere and so we left having seen some very interesting and colourful birds but having no idea what many of them were or anything about them. The experience seems to be pitched more at interacting than learning. Perhaps I missed something but to my knowledge the only information I found about the birds was a list of species at the entrance. Still, if interacting is your desire then this is a great experience.

A must see but be prepared for the hills - It was great fun but the lack of seating in the aviary was a disappointment. The staff were terrific and made a very nice chai latte plus a delicious gluten free ham, cheese, tomato toastie

Poor - Firstly, the Bird Avery Experience. The conditions for visiting this expensive exhibit are NOT shown at the reception and are left until your time to take the 35 minutes tour. This is then a dilemma for having bought the expensive tickets you may be obligated to continue. If you wear hearing aids then you are warned to remove them, obviously the tour commentary would be nil. Remove hats, and all trinkets, earings and piercing. We did not taken the tour and asked for our money back which happened. We substituted the hire of a buggy for the cash and drove around the grounds. Botanic Garden. The gardens are not botanical, very little of significance, nothing botanical is given name tags. A great planting of bedding plants, the spring will bring colour. Over sold in advertising; over priced for the worth of the visit. We did not sample the food and drinks!
