Amazing experience - Amazing experience, my partner and I visited unsure what to expect and were blown away by the experience. Loved the setup of the ovaries and how much room they all had to spread their wings and how friendly and the beautiful personalities each bird had.

Maleny Botanic Gardens - Beautiful place to visit with great views and scenery. We enjoyed walking around the gardens and visiting the farm friends. They had a 2 month old baby donkey named ziggy who was adorable. We didn’t do the bird aviary but i’m sure that was a fun experience also. Recommend visiting if you are in the area!

The tour guides - I started going to Maleny botanicals and bird world in October 2024, I really enjoyed the beautiful gardens over the summer with the beautiful roses and have watched the gardeners maintain it and work on it diligently. Now moving onto the bird section, I’ve done tours almost every time I’ve gone, now some of the guides aren’t very knowledgeable and haven’t been very friendly or enforcing of the rules aka letting people grab birds and crossing into the gardens. There has been one tour guide that I love going on tour with he makes it fun and entertaining and knows all the birds which was really surprising when pointing out a random bird. He’s really fun and entertaining wearing bright and colourful shirts, he knows the birds names and they all come down to him unlike the other tour guides. If you get very lucky you’ll have Kyle as your tour guide, he is awesome!

Wonderful birds, stunning gardens and world class views! - We had the best time here. As bird lovers it was truly a delight to get as close as one possibly could to their magnificent collection of stunning birds. As a lover of Australian parrots and Macaws, you really couldnt ask for more! Add to that the other animal experiences, the beautiful gardens, and the absolutely stunning views to the Glasshouse mountains and you have a world class experience. Great job everyone - a must visit venue!

Absolutely beautiful - It is very educational and the birds are truly beautiful. The walk through and having them land on you is a delightful, amazing to be able to be that close to them. The gardens are relaxing and tranquil and the little ones loved feeding the goats and donkeys. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall a great day.

Wonderful day out - Maleny Botanic Gardens and Bird Avery was a beautiful family day out. My son Jaxson (14 months old) loved the Avery tour. He was son intrigued and interested by the birds flying around. It was awesome when the birds landed on our heads and shoulders. The petting farm was a lot of fun too. $4.00 for a bag of food if you want to feed the animal. Jaxson loved following g the chickens around. The baby donkey “Oreo” was adorable. Despite being full of farm animals was quite clean and tidy. The miniature donkeys were so cute. The goats can be very eager to be fed. Once they see the paper bag of food mix, they came running in a herd. The gardens were beautiful and so peaceful plus the views of the glasshouses mountains were breathtaking! Overall a wonderful place to visit and lovely family day out.

~sigh~ - Donkey bit me and swarmed by goats in the petting zoo and there was no information stating that they do that. Gardens were unkempt, messy and boring. Views were nice though. Aviary tour wasn't capped at the amount of people attending (50+ I counted) and was crowded and extremely loud. Overall disappointing and boring day i will not be going back
