Malia - Just before we start this unforgettable Self Drive Jeep tour experience, the Experts of our Jeep Safari will teach you everything about the vehicles, including lessons for beginners so that everyone is ready to discover Crete safely, with lots of fun and excitement!
Potamies - Starting from your hotel we head to “Potamies” an Authentic Cretan village. There we will make our first stop, in a local shepherd’s farm where we will meet a local shepherd with his family and participate in his activities like the milking of the goat.
Aposelemis Dam - We pass by the dam of Aposelemis that is an impressive feat of engineering that has created a stunning lake with clear, blue waters.
Τοίχος, Υδραγωγείο Λυττού, Περιοχή Κασταμονίτσας - We continue after the passage by the dam of Aposelemis to the ancient Roman aqueduct for a photostop on the ruins of this impressive wall!
Kastamonitsa - Then enjoy a coffee stop in the traditional village of Kastamonitsa. Opt for a refreshing break in one of the traditional cafes of the village or take a leisurely stroll through its charming alleys!
ΜΟΝΟΠΑΤΙ ΜΙΚΡΟΣ ΑΦΕΝΤΗΣ - It’s time for the highest panoramic viewpoint of the day for the best photos! Photostop ~1200m. for the most impressive photo shooting with a breathtaking view! Dynamic Off-roading uphill on dirt roads through the ancient Minoan paths! Impressive mountains, wildlife, and unique views as if taken from another setting. That’s a good opportunity to collect local herbs.
Lasithi Plateau - Then we continue through the Lasithi Plateau and after that, drive to one of the most representative villages of Crete, Krasi.
Platanus Tree - Next stop will be in the traditional village of Krasi, reaching the village square, one will see the three huge planees and Vryses dominate. Among them stands the largest and perennial plane tree aged over than 2000 years.
Malia - At the last stop of the day, savor a delicious BBQ feast. This is the perfect way to end a day of sightseeing and adventure in Crete and to relax and unwind with friends or family. Don’t miss out on this delicious and satisfying meal!

Cross the gardens, villages, pass by the dam of Aposelemis and the ancient Roman aqueduct. Enjoy a coffee stop in the traditional village of Kastamonitsa and then… Off road through the imposing ancient Minoan paths! Bumpy trails, rich nature and wildlife that will truly make you feel off-road! We continue all the way up to the most stunning panoramic viewpoint of the day at ~ 1200m. Driving through the Lasithi plateau and then.. Walk the traditional village of Krasi with the monumental plane tree over 2000 years old and then enjoy a tasty lunch! Option for going Private! By choosing the option Private, every booking ensures a private Jeep exclusively for you, total 5 pax. per Jeep. If you are 6 or more people then more bookings than one have to be done. In the other hand if you are 4 people and you want 2 Jeeps then you have to do 2 bookings for 2 people otherwise you will be in 1 Jeep.

The driver must hold a valid car driver’s license with his ID card in physical form with him in order to participate in the tour (The license must be more than 2 years old - Provisional driving licenses are not accepted
Comfortable closed shoes are required for the drivers in order to participate in the tour
Not allowed drinking/eating/smoking inside the vehicles
Don’t forget : closed shoes, Sunscreen, Hat & Sun glasses, Swimsuit, Sea towels, Car driver’s license / with ID

Worth every penny - Our tour was just fantastic! We discovered beautiful places that took our breath away – a real highlight for Nature Guides! Our guide was super nice and made us laugh again and again with his funny manner, which made the tour even more entertaining. In the end we were also spoiled with a really good meal that perfectly matched the conclusion. All in all it was worth every penny and we can only recommend it to anyone!
