Great food, great people! - I ate some amazing food, helped out by Eric, an extremely kind staff member. He let me try all sorts of stuff which you can eat after finishing the tour through the museum. I ate a black ant, a bamboo worm and even a diving beetle! Eric was even kind enough to eat it along with me to help encourage me to take on the experience. It was extremely enjoyable! I feel that the hardest thing is just getting past the look of the food, and after that it was easy with Eric's help. I even won a free hat! :) -Ernie, 14 years old

It's a fantastic experience. It's a very worthwhile museum. - This is the funniest museum I've ever been to and we learned a lot of interesting facts about amazing food from different countries and regions. My girlfriend and I really loved the food tasting session afterwards, and Eric as a very welcoming staff member was friendly enough to introduce us all to the taste of each food and the country it came from. My girlfriend and I first experienced eating bugs and the unexpected taste was not very bad, but rather tasted like nuts + biscuits. Less acceptable to me as an Asian is the variety of magical cheeses and the giant bugs in the last part. Really, as Eric says, the main thing to overcome is the obstacles above sight and smell, but it actually tastes okay. We challenged six different sauces together, so spicy that our tears came out, but thankfully Eric had milk for us to de-spicy. We all received small prizes for remembrance when we left. The Disgusting Food Museum is really a super innovative museum with friendly staff, super recommended! One must try it all his life.

A Russian roulette of tastes & flavours - This was so much fun. The exhibits are very interesting. The highlight is the tasting bar.... We had a couple of brilliant staff members who were great fun, they 'walked' us through all the samples. It was a Russian roulette of tastes & flavours... moments of nervous laughter and trepidation tasting each item. We thoroughly enjoyed this... not for the fainted hearted !

Well worth a visit (not for the queasy) - We loved it ♥️ The smells and food displayed were tantalizingly revolting. The museum is very small so it is impossible to escape the smells. The absolute best thing was the tasting bar which was manned with engaging and well-informed staff who absolutely took the visit to another level.

A must for Malmo! - Great experiance, although some truly sickening. My son is 10 and it was his favourite experiance of the whole holiday. My daughter didn’t want to come inside and sat outside until a member of staff (half Spanish/English red hair - so sorry I can't remember his name!) came to talk to her and she came in. Such thoughtfulness and kindness and great knowledge given to make such a fun and memorable experience. A must if visiting Malmo! Booked direct before we arrived and no need for skip the queue tickets.

Best museum in Malmo! - No need to book skip the line ticket! I would recommend booking on their own website as it is cheaper, they give you a rough time slot but you can go whenever during the day. The museum is like nothing else I’ve been to, so interesting and fun! Lots to see, smell and taste!! Definitely worth spending a couple of hours there. Also a special shout out to Eric who was so lovely and helpful and made our experience so special :)

Regrets our visit enormously - Terrible stink throughout the room, just a lot of signs to read and then finally a tiny buffet of compressed things to taste with people standing next to and eaten in the bag you got with you in the entrance.
