Bunica is the most tranquil river and is child friendly. It is slow enough that you can paddle up or down the river with same effort. You are the boss of your own adventure, you will be going by yourself so take as much time as you want at your favourite stops. There are several beaches along the way as you go down the river to a caffe-grill where you can stop by for quick lunch. This is also the turning point as the river becomes shallow and a bit harder to paddle.
• Bunica Boating - After visiting spring of Bunica, the slow descent down the river can begin. Now is the time to pay attention to wildlife, especially birds in migrating season. Rare sightings of a majestic Great Heron leave our guests breathless. The descent down the river lasts about 20 minutes. The river grill is your turning point. At the grill you can stop by for a refreshment or even light lunch. Now all is left is light paddle back to camp.
