• Hondoq Bay - This is our usual starting point for the Comino tour. Please note that it may change due to weather or other factors. Please read your messages before the tour and contact us if in doubt.

Here, we will set you up with the equipment and make sure you are comfortable in your kayak. You’ll meet your guide and do a safety briefing. Then we set you on your way!

• Gozo Channel - We generally start with a short paddle along the Gozo coastline to get comfortable in our kayaks before our journey takes us across the Gozo Channel Comino! The crossing usually takes about 20min and is approx. 800m at the narrowest point. This is where the adventure really gets started!
• Blue Lagoon - We try to see as much as we can of Comino based on the weather conditions and busyness on the water! But it won’t be possible to see everything every trip!

We do make every effort to stop in or nearby the beautiful Blue Lagoon for a break. In this time you can swim, explore the chrystal blue sea or just relax if you would like. If we cannot land in or nearby we will be sure to kayak into the first part of the Blue Lagoon so you can enjoy it from the water!

On our way we pass by and explore a number of gorgeous caves and bays. It’s awesome!

• Cominotto Reef - Cominotto is not easily accessible to regular tourists, but kayaks can make use of the perfect entrance through the secret tunnel through the island to the Blue Lagoon! An unforgettable experience in itself!
• Crystal Lagoon - When the weather allows we can kayak around the back of Cominotto and head to explore the stunning clear waters, hidden tunnels and awe-inspiring open-top caves in the Crystal lagoon. We can see where films like Troy (Brad Pitt), Swept Away (Madonna) and the Count of Monte Cristo were filmed!
• San Niklaw Bay - Hidden around the corner from San Niklaw Bay is our favourite swimming spot. It is a hidden gorge only easily accessible by water. We lovingly refer to it as Urchin’s Bay and it contains a wealth of marine life!

alfa Rock** -

alfa Rock, also known as Oath Rock or Qala Rock is a stunning stand alone island just off the coast of Gozo. Your guide will tell you all about the pirate lord and show the 700 year old hermit hut and St Anthony’s Battery!

• Santa Marija Bay - We also visit the Santa Marija Bay area. It is great for swimming and relaxing. If time allows, we sometimes take a short walk exploring some epic lookout points and can even crawl into the Smuggler’s Cave from the land entrance!

Please understand that all our tours are weather-dependent and not all areas may be accessible. Also, the Comino tours are not always possible due to winds or other factors. The tours are subject to a location change. If so, we will notify you before the tour, so always check your messages and contact us if you are in doubt.

Embark on a kayak excursion filled with exploration and enchantment to the stunning Comino - a journey comprising of extraordinary caves, crystal clear waters, magnificent bays, beaches and remarkable rock formations (subject to weather conditions)!

This expedition spreads across a full day (10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) from Gozo to Comino. We welcome both newbies and seasoned kayakers. More than half of the time is dedicated to kayaking while the rest is spent in relaxation, swimming, and terrestrial exploration! You’ll have a chance to visit the Blue Lagoon side and the Santa Maria side of Comino, both famed for their incredible caves, bays and rocky landscapes. Please bear in mind that all tours are contingent on weather and not all areas/routes might be reachable.

If necessary, the guide will familiarize you with the basics ensuring you feel at ease! Kindly inform us about your prior kayaking experiences when booking so that we can group you better.

Remember, this is an active escapade, so a moderate level of physical fitness and basic swimming skills are essential.

We do our best to accommodate people with disabilities or medical issues, but this activity may not be suitable for everyone, which is at our discretion. If in doubt, please contact us before booking. We may require the use of a double kayak due to medical or other issues. For safety reasons, we reserve the right to deny services or change the route/duration of the tour due to medical or relevant issues that are not reported to us before/at the time of booking, or that are reported to us in an inaccurate way.
• Pregnant women are permitted to join the tours if they are in their 27th week or less of pregnancy at the time of the tour.
• Minimum age is 8 years old (strict policy)
• Children under 13 are required to be in a double kayak with an adult (strict policy)
• All participants must be able to swim at a basic level and everyone is required to wear a life vest at all times in the kayak.
• Double kayaks will be provided to even numbered groups unless singles are specifically requested/approved at the time of booking.
• Each guide is only permitted to lead a limited number of kayaks for safety reasons and to increase the quality of the tour. For this reason, availability may be limited.
• Minimum group size of 2, solo travellers may join if an existing group has formed but may need to be flexible.
• Customer cancellations only permitted up to 24 hours in advance.
• A picnic lunch is provided, including a snack and fruit. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions..
