My fave day! - I had the best time on a hike with Josette! Even though it was raining and my phone died, she went out of her way to make sure I had an amazing day. Josette personalised the hike for me and even adjusted it because of the weather (she knows loads of routes and tailors them for you!)
Right from the start, Josette was super welcoming. As we walked, she told me lots of interesting stories and facts about our surroundings and the history. We even came across this cool old Victorian pumping station, and Josette knew all about it :)
Despite the rain, Josette stayed positive and kept us smiling (and laughing!). If you want to go on a fun hike with an enthusiastic guide who knows their stuff, this is for you! :)

Breathtaking spots in familiar atmosphere - Today was the time for a "new perspective" on Gozo. Instead of putting our heads under the surface of the blue ocean🌊 (we are divers), we explored the beauty of the island on a 5 hour hike 🥾, guided by Josette Farrugia (dive instructor as well! 🤙🏻).
It was an amazing tour with stunning views 👀 over rough walls, former buildings, green valleys and azure blue bays, mixed with a lot of additional information about the gozian culture, language, history, flora and fauna (I saw a wild living chameleon for the first time of my life! 🤩). 🌴⛱️🌺🐦☀️🕶️
THANK YOU, Josy, for showing us your beautiful homeland and creating a fabulous day for us! 🙏🏻♥️

Fantastic experience, fantastic guide, would highly recommend - My guide was fantastic, tailored the hike to my needs and interests, with superb local knowledge of all the best and less well-known spots.
If you want to see a side of Gozo not seen by many, I highly recommend this tour.
Very easy to do this tour if you are staying in Malta too, as the ferries are frequent, the bus connections good, and you will be picked up from the bus station.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

Best Hike in Gozo - Views are stunning and unique as areas are accessible only on feet.
Our hiking tour guide Jo catered to the needs of our group very well and chose the route carefully while considering difficulty and safety as paramount.

Perfect activity for those who look for something adventurous during their holiday - A perfect hiking tour to discover unique places of Gozo, led by Josette who is really friendly and accessible, keeping in mind your preferences in pace and fitness level. Great possibilities as well to jump off cliffs and to do some snorkling and swimming in the nice, refreshing water of the sea. As Josette said: ‘it is your hike, you decide’, so we had, to a certain extent due to time limitations of the hike, the freedom to decide how long we swam in certain places, wether or not we wanted to jump off a cliff etc…
In short, I would really recommend this tour!!!

See the hidden jewels of Gozo. - I loved everything about my hike with Josette from Gozo Unveiled. A revealing experience of the unseen parts of the North East part of the island, we started at Daħlet Qorrot Beach and making our way around the coast line we finished at Hondoq Bay. At times I felt I was in my own National Geographics expedition, seeing the prehistoric looking rock formations against the backdrop of the vastness of the Mediterranean Sea. I enjoyed walking over the rocky surfaces and cooling off in the rock pools we passed by. Sights included a secluded window, deep caves, Ħalfa Rock, Saint Anthony’s Battery and so much more. If you enjoy the unbeaten path you’ll enjoy this trek. I liked it so much I’m doing more while I’m here. Josette was the best guide, with knowledge of the history and landscape, she was hospitable and very friendly. Amazing hike and one I’ll recommend to friends and family to try.

Unforgettable Gozo Experience - Of all the activities we did on the island, this was our favorite by far. The main reason for this is Josette, who organized a really interesting itinerary and tailored everything to our needs so we could do a lot of walking, but also relax and swim at certain spots. Thanks to her, we discovered some hidden beaches and places, but I won’t go into detail to keep the surprise. This was an awesome way to get to know Gozo. Josette is a local, and we learned a lot from her about traditions, customs, and people. She also knows a lot about nature, so we often stopped to hear about a specific plant or the traditional way of collecting sea salt. She talked the whole time in a very engaging and passionate way. Every time we met someone along the way, they knew her and greeted her warmly. That’s how we learned a lot about migratory birds from one of her friends and it was also interesting to meet her diver friends and learn firsthand why Malta is one of the world’s top spots for diving. All of this was just a bonus to the excellent organization we had. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend it to everyone. Jo is fantastic at what she does, and Gozo was the highlight of our trip because of her.

Gozo different this time - I booked a day trip with Josette and I have to say it was the best adventure I have had on this island that I have been visiting for many years. Josette simply took care of everything, from the meeting point to the weather, fitness level, everything was well chosen. I am totally thrilled and would recommend a tour at any time.
