Highlights

First, we will pick up tourists at the place specified by the tourists, after that our first destination is towards the Monument to the Statue of the Lord Jesus Bless. The Jesus Blessing Monument, better known as Jesus Blessing, is one of the landmarks of Manado City, the capital of North Sulawesi province. The location of the Jesus Blessing Monument is in the Citraland Residential Area, Winangun Satu, Malalayang, Manado. This statue is one of the religious works of art of the owner and founder of the Ciputra Group, Ir. Ciputra or Tjie Tjin Hoan. Since it was inaugurated in 2007, this monument has not only been visited by Christians but also tourists visiting the city of Manado. Most of them are curious about the beauty of this place and want to see the view from the top of the hill. The scenic beauty of this monument is famous among tourists because it leads directly to Manado City, Manado Tua Island, Bunaken, and Mount Klabat. This monument was not only built to support the infrastructure of the housing complex built by Ciputra in the area, but aims to be a place to reflect on human struggle when facing suffering.)

After that, head to the second place, namely the 2nd World War Monument. The World War II Monument is located in the GMIM Sentrum Church yard complex, Pasar 45 Manado. Still with Dutch architecture, this monument was built in 1946 by Dutch architect, Ir. Van de Bosch to commemorate the events of the Allied war against Japan and honor those who died in the second world war. This monument is adjacent to the Sentrum Church, or by another name De Groote Kerk ‘Big Church’, which is what Dutch Indies call the GMIM Sentrum Church, one of the oldest churches in Indonesia which has been established since the 17th century. This church is also a historical trace of the spread of Protestant Christianity through Dutch missionaries in North Sulawesi.

Next, the third place to visit is Ban Hin Kiong Temple. This temple is the oldest temple in Manado which was founded in 1819, then in 1839 an ash house (Kong Tek Su) was built. At the beginning, this temple was made from a house interspersed with simple bamboo. Ban Hin Kiong consists of three words, ban (萬) means 10,000 or many, hin (興) means abundance, and kiong (宮) which means palace. This temple began to be managed organizationally since 1935 through the Sam Khauw Hwee association which was founded on the efforts and initiative of two figures, namely Yo Sio Sien and Que Boen Tjen. On March 14 1970, this temple was burned down by several people. On the initiative of Nyong Loho (Soei Swie Goan), who later served simultaneously as head of construction and head of the Ban Hin Kiong temple, construction of the temple renovation began. Until now, this temple has undergone several building renovations, both adding floors to three floors and expanding the courtyard space.

After that, tourists are directed to the last place, namely Mount Tumpa. The grand forest park (Tahura) has uniqueness and extraordinary appeal, apart from the cool air, the sound of birds chirping, selfie spots, it also has spectacular views visible from the tops of several islands with extraordinary offshore views. It cannot be denied that the mountain is still a tourist area with beautiful views. The most beautiful place to enjoy the sun and prove to yourself that what you cannot do can be done with confidence. Like climbing Mount Tumpa. The view is truly pleasing to the eye. Apart from that, it is very suitable for those of you who are learning to climb. Usually, this area will be busy with visitors every Saturday and Sunday or during long school holidays. Curious about this Mountain, let’s continue exploring it below. If you look at the height, it is only 750 meters above sea level. So, anyone can try climbing and climbing onto it. This area is a protected forest which is home to the endemic flora and fauna of Sulawesi. You can see from the towering coconut trees.

At the end of the trip we will take tourists to their destination such as a hotel or depending on the tourist’s request (in Manado city).
