Bahrain Archeological sites - Short and interesting tour of some of the historical sites in Bahrain. Flexible itinerary so we asked to stop at the oldest mosque in Bahrain and changed the timings so we finished at Bahrain Fort at sunset. Barbar temples were interesting, no one else there, takes 15 mins to go around. The Dilmun burials were in town and we agreed to walk around just one and drive by the rest but you could do more here if you want. The royal burials are more than just mounds and if you go to the National museum you can see examples preserved showing how they were constructed. Bahrain Fort was the biggest site to take in with not only the old Fort but also the remains of the village that the Fort seems to be built on.

Archeological Tour in Bahrain - We had a great excursion with Farhat Tours today! We covered the fort, the ruins of an old temple, and the royal burial mounds.

An educational tour - I enjoyed learning more about the Dilmun civilization, which existed in Bahrain thousands of years ago. The burial mounds were interesting as well as the other structures that we visited. I found the tour to be unique and informative.

Excellent - An excellent driver and a very knowledgeable guide made for a memorable and informative morning about a relatively unknown civilisation.

If you like archeology or history, this tour is for you! - Husain was extremely knowledgeable and personable. We will take another of his tours on our return to Bahrain. Highly recommended!

Very cool sites - mostly all to yourself - I very much enjoyed this tour, and my tour guide Abdul Aziz and driver Sultan were very pleasant and knowledgeable. The four sites we went to were almost all deserted except for us, which was pretty cool - made me feel like I was getting to see things most tourists don't. The one thing about the tour is I would have liked to spend time at the Fort Bahrain museum, and there was no real time for that as it was closing when we were wrapping up our tour. But otherwise, highly recommended.

It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site... -
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site an worth seeing but it is not too grand. It is the best site and the others are lesser.

Not very memorable - Not a super memorable tour. The Bahrain Fort was closed, so we walked around the outside which was disappointing. Driver and guide didn’t appear interested in the tour, though the guide was knowledgeable and was helpful conveying/contextualizing information at the Bahrain National Museum. The karak chai stop near the end was nice. Overall, just sort of weird lukewarm vibes from this tour tbh.

Rather disappointing. The company... -
Rather disappointing. The company appeared to have forgotten that I had booked, and I had to call about five times after the scheduled pickup time to find out where they were. In the end they were over an hour late.

The guide was rather unprofessional and not hugely knowledgable - very often just reading off the notice boards at the sites. He also asked a number of rather uncomfortable questions about religion, which were not wanted. At one site he was soliciting for other business whilst guiding me, and at another he left me to 'look around' whilst chatting to a friend.
