Really fun - My daughter and I took this together. It was a lot of fun and informative. At the end you get to eat your creation with a glass of wine and foccachia. So much fun. Definitely recommend.

Incredible and delicious experience - It was fantastic! Ivonne is a wonderful teacher and the class was very engaging. One word of warning: be prepared to work up a sweat. It takes serious elbow grease to make a great pesto, but it is worth the effort. So delicious! Bonus for dehydrated Americans: Ivonne will give you all the water you can drink during class.

Pesto Party!! - The view alone is worth the climb along the path/steps to the restaurant Nessun Dorma’s perch atop the mountain. The Pesto-making Class was one of the most fun, authentic things we have done in our two and a half weeks so far here in Italy. It is so much more than a class. It is an Italian experience! Music, fresh ingredients, and clear instruction! Also, individual attention and assistance all along the process. There was even a pesto-making dance contest!! 😁 We were not hurried at all. Plenty of wine was included in the price of the class, and a charcuterie board lunch was served when we finished our pesto creation!! I would place this experience at the top of a must-do list in Cinque Terre!!

Excellent! - What a great experience! We took the train down the coast and are so glad we did. The kids loved competing for best pesto and we loved learning how it came about! We also got an excellent lunch recommendation and some local wine….an incredible experience we have continued to talk about now that we’re home again. Thank you!!

Making the best pesto ! - The lady who taught our class was so very kind as she shared her cultural traditions and tips about making pesto . She explained the history about it and was very engaging . We really enjoyed her instruction and kind way . She was very helpful to our 10 year old as he was grinding the basil leaves . I would 100% take this class again

Must do tour - Highly recommend this tour, very educational with a great teacher who provides background knowledge of the area as well as the pesto. It really ruined regular pesto for me, it was incredible!! We booked it on a rainy day but knowing how much fun it was, it’s great for rain or shine!!

Must Do Activity! - So glad we did this! All fresh, high quality local ingredients provided with the post card picture view overlooking Manarolla. Food and wine provided were excelent. Amazingly affordable for the time and food provided. Owner was delightful and somehow spent time with all of us eventhough there were 75 or so folks there. Can't recommend highly enough! Grazie!!
