Beautiful & authentic ! - This was an absolutely amazing authentic experience !! We are so happy we booked this. The pesto was delicious & you receive the recipe at the end. The host & chef is so gracious & kind. She grows all her own ingredients that we used to make the pesto. I made it once when we arrived back to the states, but have since misplaced the recipe, which makes me so sad. Although simple I cannot recall exactly how it was made & the amounts. We highly recommend doing this wonderful authentic pesto making class!!

Amazing experience, 100% worth doing! - What an amazing experience, set in a beautiful Italian kitchen with a very knowledgeable and charming host. Made us all feel very welcome, and the pesto we each made with her home made focaccia was the best I've ever had. Thoroughly recommend this trip.

Educational and fun pesto making class! - We really enjoyed the authentic pesto cooking class in Manarola, and especially appreciated learning the history of pesto in Italy. I didn't know that basil was not introduced into pesto until after the 14th century! Our small class of 6 prepared pesto from scratch, learning about the importance of each ingredient. Finally, we tasted our creation with focaccia bread and a glass of wine, and it was delicious! Fun and rewarding experience that I highly recommend!

In a word: unforgettable. - Absolutely unforgettable. Yvonne is a master in the art of pesto making and the ability to enchant her students. We were really happy today. How lucky. A zero tourist class with refinement and simplicity. Next. Maravilhosa.

Pesto Perffeto! - With some crazy weather and delays (due to the storms) the hosts (Yvonne) worked so hard at finding a time to reschedule. Eventually just opening up for just my wife and I. What an amazing experience and space. It was such an honor to sit with someone from a multigenerational family in the area to learn about the history of Cinque Terre as well as the food and wine that helped shaped it! And ohhhhh the pesto and wine. We’re in heaven! My wife and I already have a pesto dinner party planned for when we return home with our friends.
