For this journey, you need to be in good physical condition and mentally ready. There might be days when you’ll need to walk for 8 to 9 hours, which goes beyond the average daily walking distance. Although this trip primarily organized camping three years ago, now it predominantly involves basic teahouses for accommodation.
Predominantly, your stay will be in lodges where you will also have your meals (Dhal Bhat - a traditional Nepalese dish, Fried rice, Bread, Boiled and fried eggs, Potatoes, Noodles, porridge, tea coffee etc.). However, if you decide to extend your trip, you might have the opportunity to visit the Tsum Valley area, where homestay accommodations are available, offering you the chance to dine and stay at a local’s house. Should you have the time, the Tsum Valley, a restricted area since 2007, is highly recommended. This expedition offers a unique blend of culture and religion, distinguishing it from the many trekking trails in Nepal.
