A great escape - I can recommend this trip to any family. It's all very well organized. The "fights on the water" made even our teenager laugh. Our guide Murat has always motivated us and the landscape is a true dream. The food at the end was delicious and plentiful. Hotel pickup and return has worked great. The cold mountain water was shocking at first but you get used to it so quickly and with outside temperatures of about 40°C the cooling was very welcome. All in all a great day

Good day out on the water. - Great day out with our 14 year old son. Hard work being at the front right but a good laugh. Captain Mehmet was good fun and had a good laugh. Lunch was good but drinks expensive but you are up in the mountains so hey ho... Buy water shoes and waterproof phone cover before you go as they are €10 each when there.

Amazing rafting trip - We really enjoyed our time doing rafting. The communication with the service provider was great. We were picked up from our hotel. The Mega team are really well organised, very polite and go the extra mile to keep you comfortable. We also tried the zip line. Even if you don’t book it in advance you can add it after. You can pay by card also. Our captain of the boat was Akram. What an awesome guy! He was really funny and offered great service. Also I told him I don’t know how to swim so he was very understanding and didn’t insist when I said I don’t want to go in the water. The trip felt safe and definitely would recommend for anyone looking for a bit of fun and adventure.
I was reading a lot of the reviews that said you have to wait around. This wasn’t true for our trip. Everything was well organised.

Great day out overall, some pros and cons - Some pros and cons to the day which I'll summarise first before I go into details. But would i do this again, probably not but worth going once if you are thinking about it:
Pros:
Fun guide on our raft
12km rafting so plenty of time
Plenty of swim/dive stops
Really good price for the day
Cons:
Cramped mini van with no A/C for pickup
No option for guide to carry water/suncream for passengers
Breaks too long whilst rafting and on return drop off.
So details:
Our pick up was 9.45. We arrived early but were told 10 minutes delay due to traffic (they do say 5 -10 potential). 25 minutes later he arrived. Apparently bad traffic.
Minibus has 13 seats in the back and 2 in the front. All full. No A/C so windows open. Summer must be awful. I got told 1st pickup was around 9/9.30 so a long time to be on the bus.
From last pickup its 1 hour to rafting. There are toilets. But all seats taken and cramped.
From camp, here you are not supposed to eat or drink anything not purchased there. There's a big sign.
You all sit and watch a video (you'll be asked if you want to purchase one of your trip at the end for €25).
Make sure you bring closed toe shoes. Water shoes or trainers. You can't go barefoot or in flip-flops.
You can buy:
Water shoes €10
Waterproof phone case €10
Sunglasses band €3
Wetsuit rent €5
Drinks were €2-3 I think.
They take cash and card.
You are fitted with life jacket and helmet and then back on the bus to the drop off. For me the driver was driving too fast and music blasting, given this was on blind bends and drops at the side of the road. We have young kids and families on the bus, it was more a lads/18 -30 experience on the bus.
Once at the start you walk through the cold water in single file. October was cold but I didn't have a wetsuit. Didn't really need it. But it is really cold.
Then picture time before a walk to the raft.
First leg was good, felt longer than the second half. Plenty of times to jump in and swim or dive in. Rapids are not that crazy so family friendly and relatively safe as quite shallow in places.
1st stop you are here for a while. They try to sell drinks and flavoured bread. Must have been 30 minutes or more. Would have been nice for a swim stop. But constantly being asked if we want a beer or food I decided to go down to the water to wait.
Back on the raft and you end up at the starting point. There was one point where we were asked if we wanted to stand on the raft and they spin you round but it was quite shallow in one bit which I thought was a bit dangerous other than that all good.
The lunch they give you (around 3pm) is great. Chicken skewer, pasta, grains and salad with bread was very tasty and self serve. Make sure you have a big breakfast as it's a long time between then and lunch. Unless you buy some bread at the first stop.
Again constantly asking if we want drinks. Then buying a video. Hopefully the USB works. Not tested yet. It was OK but a lot of the other groups. Could do with more personalized ones I think. But the trip was cheap for what you got so we didn't mind.
At the end we got the sob story from one of the other guides about tips. He only got €8 apparently so we needed to tip our guide. Apparently English are good tippers but apparently Germans aren't? We were going to tip anyway but just felt like a constant plea for money for most of the trip.
I suggest charge more for it. I would have paid €25 for each of us happily. Well worth it.
You can have a shower and change there ready to get home.
On route back the driver needed 10 minutes break so we stopped at a services. Every tour bus seemed to do this so must be part of the day to get some extra spend from you. But we were so tired and just wanted to get back. Completely unnecessary. He had 3 hours whilst we were rafting for a break. I don't think anyone appreciated this on the bus.
As I said. It's worth an experience. Bring shoes and some money for tips. Maybe a waterproof bag to wear during the day for water/suncream and you'll be fine.
Prepare to get wet, there's hundreds of others rafting too and you'll have water fights. Very fun.
Other than my main cons above it was a good day.

Great activity but weird ending - The activity was very nice and the food was very yummy. But while we were in our bus, some of us hat bad stomach cramps and some did throw up at the hotel. I don't know if there was something inside the food or if it was the warm weather.
