Not what it says on the tin! - This experience was not what what we were sold. We were sold this by ‘Side Boat Tour’ the only identifiers and none of their phone numbers worked on their invoice. We purchased this tour from the stand in the old town harbour. It’s honestly a rip off for what you get and you could probably hire a speed boat for a similar amount ( well we actually did in the end!) €30 a head including children for which there was no discount. We were told it was dolphin turtle watching experience including everything. The good: the food was not bad; quite tasty chicken rice and salad The toilets were fine At no point did we feel unsafe The staff were friendly The bad: You will not see turtles or dolphins Everything (and I mean virtually everything!) is extra if you can get away without spending more than your original outlay you’ve won! There is a foam party … if you knew this great! If not it was certainly a surprise to most guests! There is shade on the bottom floor and you won’t get covered in foam if you choose to sit there. The river: marked as an experience I have no idea why? It’s not picturesque, there are sections of rubbish and the first beach where you moor up is bleak at best.

TO ABSOLUTELY AVOID FOR YOUR WALLET AND THE PLANET 🫤! - Tourist trap, excursion with extremely polluting boats, everything costs money on the boat, the worst day of my vacation! Absolutely avoid, it’s a clear tourist trap… We didn't see any dolphins, the boat didn't even try to find any, but on the other hand a machine filled the boat with foam and music so you couldn't hear your neighbor talking! How can you attract dolphins with a noise like that? How can we allow boats to sail that spit out 2 liters of engine oil with each throttle stroke? All this is an ecological aberration…. I'm sad to have participated in this 🥲! The dolphins and turtles that you see in the photo are just a bait to attract stupid tourists like me, the goal of the excursion is simply to make you consume drinks at 2-3€ a glass all day long.

Absolutely Terrible - I don't even know where to start. Myself and my other half booked the Dolphin island boat trip and it was nothing short of a awful day out. We were promised that goggles and snorkels were provided by the tour guide - this is untrue We were promised there were no extra costs - this is massively untrue We were told that all non alcoholic drinks were free - also untrue We went up the river and came to a dead end, turned around and went back - this was clearly to waste time. Our first stop was at the beach where the river and sea meet, the beach was utterly filthy, covered in broken glass, cigarette ends, plastic bottles and empty packets. To add insult to injury we had only stopped for 45 minutes and they wanted €2 for a sun bed..... Oh and they also want €2 for Wi-fi Back on the boat, the toilets are horrific, broken tiles, dirty toilets full to the brim with urine and toilet roll. We then carried on to the so called " Dolphin island '..... It turned out that Dolphin Island was a mere rock with a flag on it and an easy swim away from the coastline. We were told there would be Dolphins and Turtles to see, this was untrue, we didn't even see a fish, this is probably something to do with them emptying the toilets into the sea - with two people swimming I would like to add. We then chugged along in the boat for another two hours, with the so called foam party going on upstairs - this was pouring down onto the lower deck onto half of the people most of which had children and infants. Towards us coming to the river again two men decided to jump from the boat - I can't blame them because I almost done the same. But because of this the whole boat was punished and our final stop was cancelled. Safe to say no one was overly impressed. It was by far the worst excursion I have ever been on. To add insult to injury, they all stood with a tip box at the end as you get off the boat, that they merrily shake in your face as you depart. Avoid at all costs, it's completely wasted a day of our holiday and cost us money that we know we won't get back.

Dismally horrible - Absolutely shocking, avoid this trip like the plague, upon booking we was promised no extra costs other than alcoholic drinks, this is a lie, fruit juice, sun beds, WiFi, and snacks, all come with extra cost, the first stop at a small beach was pathetic, the beach was covered in broken glass, litter, face masks and discarded plasters, the 2nd stop at dolphin island ( much resembling a rock with a flag stuck on top) was for 30mins, not a dolphin or turtle to be seen, not even a fish, the lunch provided was edible but a child’s portion. On booking a snorkel and mask was promised, another lie. And then your offered a professional photo taken with a parrot that had obviously had its wings clipped, this proved an accurate observation when the photographer dropped it into the ocean by accident, yes he was saved, but shocking to observe. Our final stop was cancelled when 2 people decided to jump overboard, whilst waiting for them to be picked up the captain decided to empty the toilet tanks into a beautiful ocean, please please don’t waste your hard earned money and a day of your precious holiday on this trip.

Mrs Pretorius - Despite having booked and paid for this trip in advance, a day before we were supposed to take the trip we were told due to weather conditions it had been cancelled. They asked if we would like to do the Jeep outing. Well first of all once in Turkey we were told that they DO NOT DO THE DOLPHIN ISLAND TRIP IN THE WINTER SEASON. We at first agreed to go on the Jeep outing To cut a long story short, we decided to abort this zrip after veing shifted around like cattle with by a guide who spoke NO english or german. Jeep was in a very poor state. We got out and took a taxi back to our hotel!!
