Nestled on the Western side of Rio within the expansive Pedra Branca State park, surrounded by wild life and indigenous forest. The Pedra do Telégrafo, standing at an elevation of 1,161 feet (354 meters), caters panoramic sights of untamed coastlines, the Tijuca forest, Barra da Tijuca and the illustrious Restinga da Marambaia, a restricted-access white sand peninsula stretching almost 43km. You can playfully strike a pose atop or dangle from an imposing boulder, and depending on your camera angle, it might seem like you’re a courageous adventurer on the brink of plunging down the mountain’s edge.
