• Baluarte de San Diego - Built between 1586 and 1587, this fort was designed by Jesuit priest and architect Antonio Sedeño. The round tower, Nstra. Sra. de Guia, was intended to protect Manila’s southern bayside boundary.
• Fort Santiago - Located in Intramuros, Manila, this citadel was built by the Spanish in 1571 and served as the headquarters for the Philippine colonial government.
• Paco Park - Originally constructed as a cemetery for Manila during the Spanish colonial era, Paco Park was designed as a burial ground for wealthy Spanish families living in Intramuros at the time. Many affluent Spaniards buried their loved ones here after it was built in the late 1700s.
• Manila Cathedral - As the Head Church of the Philippines, it was chosen to become the Cathedral in 1581.
