Great food with some history - Food was great and got a nice history of the area. We had about a dozen different kinds of cuisine at various restaurants and street vendors around town.

Great experience! - My wife and I did this tour while visiting Manila on business. It was a great experience although we weren’t expecting the sheer amount of different things we were able to sample! All of it was wonderful and we especially enjoyed that we were able to visit some very small family-run places that we probably never would have found let alone visited during our time in Manila. The variety of foods was good as well - we’re fairly adventurous eaters but I think the options offered would still be suitable for more picky tour participants. In my experience, it’s always a good sign when you’re eating at a place that is full of locals too, and that was certainly what we saw throughout the tour. Our tour guide Chloe was amazing and was full of great information about the history of Manila and of the Chinatown itself. In all, we’d certainly do it again and will recommend it to others

Jian is the best! - I cannot give Jian enough high praise. The day before the tour there were heavy rains and alot of our stops were still cleaning up on the day of the tour. Ever the gentleman, Jian took me and the other lady for lunch and apologised for the inconvenience even though it wasnt his fault. We agreed to meet up the following day and he was flexible to time as I had a pre booked event early in the day. It was worth the wait.....oh my....all the food was amazing....from fresh lumpia to the dumplings...the dumplings....were mouth watering to the duck to the pies...it was all so tasty and even writing this review has reminded me how much I miss it....(man the dumplings especially). Please take this tour and have Jian guide you to food heaven

Big appetite in Chinatown - Great tour guide, Jian, to take me through the hidden gems of Chinatown. Was very knowledgeable and knew how to relate to me. Didn't make me feel rushed on the tour and encouraged me to give everything a try. He was very personable and had a relationship with the people working at the establishments. Very happy with experience and would recommend to others. Even helped me pin the pick up location for my GRAB transport. Thanks Jian. -Corey

Best food tour we have been on, and we have been on many. - My husband and I spent a wonderful morning with Jian sampling some of the tastiest foods in Chinatown. He was very knowledgeaable in Filippino history and Chinese culture, sharing it with us between courses while our food settled and prepared for the next culinary adventure. Best food tour we have been on, and we have been on many.
