Luiz Tourist Guide in Manzanillo - We went with the guide Luiz who did everything to return in time to our cruise and still visit as many places as possible in the little time he had to guide us. Congratulations for following your father's past with so much passion for the profession.

Port, shopping, and iguanas - It was nice seeing the port and the old downtown of Manzanillo. Daniel and Wilbur were full of interesting information and both spoke English very well.

Not worth it. - The tour bus was full. Nice little community. Iguana zoo in poor shape, caged animals, not very clean-sad. No mention of lunch was mentioned in itinerary. But they stopped. Restaurant unaware we were coming. Not enough staff. Had to ask several times to place orders and to pay at end. An HOUR late to ship. Missed planned event on cruise.

Don't do it - This was a terrible tour. First they took us to a modern shopping mall that was mostly a large grocery store. Then the large bus took a very slow drive to show a view of the top of a hotel. Then to a beach which did include the use of umbrellas and beach chairs. We were told we would have an hour then come to the parking lot to board bus. we waited an hour in the parking lot, then we were finally told they didn't know when the bus would come back. We paid for our own taxi to get back to the cruise ship so we wouldn't miss the ship.

Sleepy and boring city in general - As part of a group cruise under my guidance. This started the proposal for a trip that included several sites in Mansanillo. The price is for a group of 29 people accompanied by a bus and a local guide and a microphone for our guide. The trip began by driving into the city a distance of tens of meters and then....the microphone does not work....the air conditioner does not work and emits a deafening vibration. The driver goes to the iguana site (walking distance from the center) and we get off for some photos. We ask change buses.....the answer is negative. We continue to the next destination and the driver drives very slowly and inexplicably. After about an hour of unnecessary and sweaty driving, we stop for the bathroom at a shopping center (local and not interesting). After about 40 minutes we finally go up to the first destination.....20 meters and stop....the driver gets off.....checks.....he find out a problem with the brakes....we are running out of time already and are waiting for a replacement bus.. ... and return back to the ship because time was running short and people had already lost trust and patience. The company representatives apologized... and for the sake of full disclosure it was said that they returned the money and also gave some cold beers to the passengers. So there was no trip....this is our experience. In general, I know that the city is sleepy and boring and the attempts sometimes to try and find attractions invite options for trips in the area, but from experience several times here in the city, it is better to tour for two hours and see graffiti and that's it... a waste of time and energy and it's says with no relevant to this "trip" that we didnt do aventurally.
