High and higher to the top - The four of us students from TalTech were in Tanzania in February for Kilimanjaro. We booked our trek with Kilimanjaro Economy Safari and this was an excellent decision. We had the best guides, very good equipment and enough supplies despite the highly discounted fee in comparison with the international operators. We had carried the recommended gear and hired the few remaining items from their office. We had two guides - Moses and Kiteto and twelve porters, cook Simon and waiter Sam. They are the best people I have been trekking with. Very humble, works hard and took excellent care of us. I enjoyed the trek although it is very difficult. Some sections make me want to turn back, but Moses kept on encouraging us, to go one step at a time, slow slow. The hardest section was the summit attempt. We trekked at night and came to the summit very early in the morning. I have a lot of appreciation for Teacher the director because he organized a very excellent trek. You cannot go wrong with Kilimanjaro Economy Safari

A Trip Beyond Expectations...!!! - Super trip with a fantastic mountain crew from guides to porters. The route was varied and stunning and any flora or fauna we encountered the guides were able to identify. Mwene our lead guide and Brown our second guide made us feel relaxed and safe and ensured we acclimatised correctly with good interesting hikes which included lunch, tea stood and stunning views. With a relaxed attitude we often left camp slightly later than the other teams and had a leisurely pause and the path to ourselves. Julian the chef cooked some amazing food including currys chips pizza and tasty veg dishes. Summit day was tough but with Mwene at the helm we took it slow but steady and reached the summit in 7 hours. The expertise of the guides and the friendliness and hard work of the rest of the team made it possible for us to summit and have a good holiday.

Amazing Trekking Crew from Kilimanjaro Economy Safari - I love traveling around the world and was recently in Tanzania where I joined a group of 5 other climbers to the summit of Kilimanjaro. I got Teachers contact from a friend and spoke with him on Facebook Messenger to get details of groups that I could join. We agreed on the Marangu Route because it fitted perfectly in my schedule. I arrived in KIA the night before our trek and was transferred to my hotel in Moshi. Teacher introduced me to Victor who was the chief guide for our expedition. This company plans well, everything is planned for ahead, number of hours to trek, where to rest, what gear to wear on different altitude levels and because Victor has been on many treks he knew the trail as the back of his hand. Explaining outstanding sights of rocks, trees, wildlife (monkeys mainly). We had our oxygen levels checked. The food was cooked fresh everyday and served hot! Getting to the summit was not easy for us but Victor and his team pressed right buttons, treated those came down with mountain sickness and we were the second team to reach the summit that day! I had taken Kilimanjaro off my bucket list! I personally did not see any difference between those of us who did budget package and those who had luxury packages because the equipment is similar, our guides were excellent. If I were to go back to Kilimanjaro I would still use Kilimanjaro Economy Safari.
