Epic Tour with an Epic Company - This locally-owned tour company brings a small army to do everything but the walking for you. I expected a beans & rice diet, but instead we had a small Peruvian feast three times a day plus snacks. The guides are very knowledgeable and attentive to every need. They go above and beyond to keep everyone safe. The Inca Trail has some epic views. It's quite challenging, but worth it. I enjoyed the hike more than the destination.

Excellent four days - Excellent four days. Edy shared with us the history and culture along the Inca Trail and on Machu Picchu. Julio was always available to answer questions, talk to us and help us. The kitchen with the head chef Daniel, Elizabeth and Alejandro cooked and served the impossible along the way. The porters who transported some of our private luggage as well as the kitchen, tents, toilet, food etc. did a superhuman job. I would recommend the hike with Edy and his team to anyone.

Once in a lifetime experience - My husband and I did this as part of our honeymoon and had the most fantastic time. It was absolutely a challenge but so rewarding. The porters are incredible, how they do this trek with carrying everyone’s things is just incredible, our chef Balbino was an absolute magician, every meal was just amazing better than some restaurants we have eaten at during our 5 week holiday through central/South America. The food was fresh and full of flavour and to top it off on the last day of our hike when he found out it was out honeymoon he made us the most delicious cake to celebrate. I don’t know how he did it but it was SO FRESH AND DELICIOUS. Our tour guide Reynaldo was amazing as well an absolute fountain of knowledge and so passionate about what he does.

Perfect Jungle Track with Roger - Tour: Inka Jungle Track (4 days/3 nights) Guide: Roger When: Early November 2024 Group size: 2 We are completely satisfied with the booked tour! Since no one else had booked this tour on the same date, my husband and I had a private tour with our guide Roger. We couldn't have caught anyone better - he had answers to all our questions from different areas (history, biology, geography, politics), had every situation under control, always communicated clearly and we knew at all times what the plan was for the next few hours. I am physically limited due to asthma and therefore very slow especially on an incline and require many breaks. Roger was super patient and never gave me the impression I was a burden. He always had a few words of encouragement ready and lured me into thinking that a nice lady is selling ice cream or a good vantage point is coming in x minutes. Roger is also a great photographer - he took both great photos and videos of us and put together a reel for us on the last day! We felt safe at all times, even the vans from Trexperience were new and comfortable. Even in advance, communication with Rosmel was perfect - fast, clear, detailed.

Do it!! - This was AMAZING! I highly recommend it if you’re physically able. It was challenging, but at your own pace, it’s manageable. If you’re lucky enough to get Edy (Puma) and HoseLuis (Pepe)… you will not only be in good hands, but in the best company. These guys made the adventure worth it. The porters and chef work harder than anyone I’ve ever seen. They are there to help and are pleased to do it. They supply more food than is needed and it’s delicious!! I would also suggest (urge) anyone coming to do it to take at least 4 days in Cuzco city before heading out. The altitude will do some strange things to your body. Even if you’re an amazing athlete, your heart will race and you’ll need to catch your breath more often than you’d think. But otherwise, it was good. One step at a time. Aside from the physical, the views will also take your breath away. There is nothing like it. The archeological sites are really neat to see and Edy did a fantastic job at explaining history. The groups are also amazing. If you have the “I can do it” attitude, so do they. Quite tired at the end, but wouldn’t trade if for anything. What an adventure!

Trip of a Lifetime - Our 4 day trek to Machu Picchu was an absolutely incredible experience and was made even more enjoyable by the quality of service from TreXperience. Our guide Jose Luis (Pepe) was extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about his job. He is a fantastic storyteller with a great sense of humour. He shared with us the history of not only the sights we visited but also that of the Inca civilisation. He also pointed out different plants and animals that we came across during our trek. Pepe really made the trip an unforgettable experience. Pepe was assisted by our second guide Sharon on our trip. She could not have been nicer. Sharon greeted us every morning with a cup of Coca tea delivered to our tent. Sharon and Pepe worked really well together with one guide always at the front of the group and the other at the rear allowing everyone to walk at a pace that was comfortable for them. I was completely blown away by the standard of food on the trip. Our chef Rolando created incredible meals along the trek and the food was better than several restaurants I've tried in Cusco. The communal meals are fantastic and really help the group to come together. Rolando even went above and beyond making a birthday cake to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday during the hike, special thanks to Pepe for helping to organise this for me. The unsung heroes of the trip are the porters who carry everything needed to make sure we are comfortable and enjoyed the hike. The porters are incredible people, they do a very difficult job but are always smiling and encouraging the hikers. I particularly enjoyed the ceremony where we had the opportunity to shake hands and introduce ourselves to the porters. I can not recommend TreXperience highly enough absolutely top quality service from top quality people.
