Just book it :) - So thankful for the amazing experience with Oom! My fiancee and I went for my birthday and we had the best time. We loved Oom’s expert advice, recommendations of how to recreate the meals at home and very high level of organization from picking us up from our resort to recommending the perfect way to cut everything. Thank you so much for making our holiday memorable xx

Thai cooking Masterclass - a brilliant way to spend 4 hours learning how to cook traditional Thai food - A fabulous 4 hours. The tutor was absolutely excellent. She picked up and dropped me off to and from my hotel. She explained exactly what we would be doing. We chose a menu between us. The instructions were explicit, interesting explanation of foodstuffs, how to prepare and cook. We produced 5 delicious courses. The view was amazing, everything spotless. I will definitely be trying her recipes when I get home using the excellent recipe book that we were given.

A great experience - Had a great time, great view, great food. Um is a very friendly person and is very good at what she does. I was so full after tasting all the beautiful food that Um taught me to make.

Thai cooking - The location is fantastic , an open air kitchen with sea views. The chef is brilliant her English is excellent. The class was informative and fun and the food we made was delicious. I was picked up from my hotel promptly. The afternoon was a joy. With the added bonus of a cookbook to keep. 🤩

Great cooking teacher, given lots of tips on Thai cooking - My sister and I booked this cooking class and were glad we did. We were picked up and taken to the open air kitchen by Um who was our instructor for the afternoon. It was a small group of 6. We started by choosing the menu from a list. We chose spring rolls, pad Thai, a soup, a curry and lastly a dessert. Um patiently demonstrated the preparation of the vegetables and meat ( chicken/prawns) then we took over. We all cooked our food then sat together to eat our delicious offerings. Everyone had a really enjoyable afternoon.
Tip: don’t have lunch before the afternoon class as you’re eating all the time,

Taste buds and bellys 100% satisfied - Our family of four, (12&14 year old children) truly enjoyed the experience. The lady who gave the class was very informative and the location was beautiful.
We merged with another family of four and as a group we chose five dishes to cook. There are choices between fish, chicken spicy, none spicy etc.
You then break off into pairs to chop and cook your meals. Returning to the dining table to eat as a large group.
The ingredients are explained and fresh, some are even grown within the garden.
The experience was both educational and fun!
The food was amazing, what better way to start your day than with a five course Thai cuisine.
We recommend to lots of people in our hotel and boasted about our experience with friends back in the UK.
Taste buds and bellys were 100% satisfied.

Not so great. Class was overbooked, food was so-so. - The teacher/owner was very gracious. The class was overcrowded. Class size was supposed to be six, but there were 13 "students" including three young children. Food was just so-so, with simple "flat" flavors and not nearly as good as another cooking class we took in Chiang Mai the week before. There was only one mortal and pestle for the entire class to share, the printed recipes were incomplete and had to be modified during class, and the teacher ended up doing about half of the cooking while we watched and ate. Two of the couples brought their young children that were very distracting and "stole the show" many times. It was not the experience we were hoping for.

Canceled despite various available times at booking - I‘ve booked this class for myself. At time of booking there where 2 slots available in morning and afternoon. I‘ve booked for the morning and got a confirmation through TripAdvisor and as well the Tour Operator.
S couple of hours later I received another message that the class is already fully booked both times that day. An alternative has been offered a few days later which was already after our departure. The cost have been refunded, however a disappointing experience.
