- Aura-Cilento - Enjoy a tasting of Cilento products at the AURA laboratory in Palinuro. The AURA-Cilento laboratory uses traditional artisan methods, respecting nature, the environment, and tradition. The unique quality of AURA-Cilento products is due to several factors: carefully selected raw materials, ancient processing techniques, and a deep passion for the Cilento region. Various types of tuna and anchovies are caught exclusively in the southern Tyrrhenian Sea; fruits and vegetables are sourced from their own lands and friendly gardens. The oil used is extra virgin olive oil from Cilento, from the lush hills descending to the sea.
- Il Centro Storico - Stroll through the historic center of Pisciotta. The village of Pisciotta maintains its medieval structure. Overlooking the village is the Palazzo Marquis Pappacoda, surrounded by small stone houses nestled between narrow, winding alleys. Noteworthy are the parish church dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul and the noble chapels of San Michele and Madonna della Mercede, which enhance the spectacular walk through Pisciotta’s historic center. The Church of Saints Peter and Paul houses valuable paintings and renowned relics.
- Cantina Lamadè - Savor a tasting at Cantina Lamadè in Pisciotta. This venue aims to rediscover the authentic flavors of traditional cuisine through “grandmothers’” recipes. The cuisine is simple Cilento, homemade; all dishes are based on zero-kilometer raw materials, provided by local producers. The menu changes daily based on fresh ingredients: homemade pasta with ancient native grains, local meat and fish dishes, cold cuts and cheeses, and aperitifs with aromatic herbs.
- Grotta Azzurra - Boat Excursion - Embark on a boat excursion from the port of Palinuro to the Blue Grotto of Capo Palinuro, named for the water’s color that changes with the sun’s reflections, creating vibrant shades of electric blue that illuminate the entire cave. This stunning effect is due to light entering through an underwater siphon at the cave’s bottom, about twenty meters deep, emerging from the opposite side.
- Antiquarium - Explore the Antiquarium of Palinuro, situated on a coastal cliff near a picturesque cove in Ficocella. Constructed in the 1960s, the building houses numerous archaeological finds discovered in the Palinuro area since 1948. Capo Palinuro and its surroundings have been inhabited since ancient times, and the tombs uncovered so far have provided archaeologists with fascinating material for study.
