An unforgettable experience - A spectacular experience. We met Antonio the owner, through some friends... a very kind person and with great knowledge of the area, who in addition to having rented us a scooter (with which we had a great time and which we highly recommend to be able to enjoy the best of all the places and beaches that Marina di Camerota offers) accompanied us in this experience to discover Cilento and in particular along the coast of the Frescoes and Masseta (coast that extends to Scario, the last town of Cilento bordering Basilicata). We started from Marina di Camerota with a visit to the Museum of Frescoes, on the port of Marina, where we admired specimens of local flora and fauna and got to know the maritime traditions of the place, passing through the cave of Cala in Via Lentiscella; very interesting prehistoric site where the remains of Sapiens and Neanderthal men are found as well as other important historical finds. Then we went up to Lentiscosa and tasted typical local products such as “maricucciata con broccoli” and “melanzane m’ buttunate” and visited the old town. We then climbed to the Pianoro di Ciolandrea in San Giovanni a Piro where we enjoyed a spectacular view of the Tyrrhenian Sea and then ended up in Scario with a beautiful walk along the seafront where we also had an excellent aperitif. All of course accompanied by the sympathy of Antonio always ready and patient to answer the many questions asked. What to say...Thank you, you made us live not an unforgettable day. What a nice surprise! - Beautiful is saying little. I decided to join this tour to see a part of Cilento this wonderful land that I did not know.
