He was quick and polite in communications via WhatsApp and in person. He went above and beyond to help us with days times of trips, swapping days, making sure we had a good time by checking in. We expected more from this activity - Rude Staff - We were expecting to have great family fun doing this activity. However, it did not meet our expectations. I know that we were not in the UK, where health and safety is a top priority for most companies. However, given the nature of this activity, the company should, at the very minimum, ensure some basic health and safety standards and its staff should have a better attitude towards it and serving its customers. We rented a family buggy for 2 adults and two kids (10 and 7 years old). My wife tried to put the seat belt on my sons but they did not work. Due to the speed of the buggies during the activity, you most probably do not need seat belts, but before knowing that, we wanted to ensure that our kids were safe. We raised the issue of the seat belts with the person in charge of the activity, and clearly, he did not like it. He got upset and literally said “This is Turkey”, implying that health and safety do not apply in this country or that no one cares about it. He also said, “In 20 years none has died”. How come they think in that way when at the beginning of the activity they give you a disclaimer form to fill out saying that the activity can be dangerous? It does not make any sense at all! The buggies are in a very poor condition. During the activity, our buggy’s engine started to release a lot of very hot steam, which was burning the backs of my wife and one of my kids. Besides, they were breathing the fumes. We told the staff but they did not care at all. The pictures shown are “pre-fabricated”, e.g. they tell you to smile and wave to the camera while they throw you water with a bucket. In other words, these are not random pictures taken while having fun during the activity. At the end, there is a gate through which the buggy passes for literally 2 seconds throwing foam to you. Again, they ask you to stop there and wave. The activity was advertised as “Marmaris: Buggy Safari with Water Fight & Transfer” but there was no water fight at all. In summary, no what we were expecting from this activity and the attitude of some staff.
