Snapshot of the NT wetlands flora and fauna - Knowledgeable guide made this amazing cruise interesting as well as picturesque. We saw both freshwater and estuarine crocodiles and amazing birds and dragonflies. Both lotus and water lilies were flowering, although sparsely. The lunch was a pack with salad and cold meats with bread and condiments offered to make our own salad or sandwich. It was a generous and delicious meal. Cold water was available on board. Certainly worth the cost for the lunch cruise given the length of time we had viewing this spectacular area.

Loved this! Save yourself time checking out other wetland experiences, just do this. - We loved our wetland cruise. Our guide Evan was really knowledgeable and passionate about the billabong environment. The boat was NOT luxurious but did the job. The lunch was ample and healthy. To drink, only water was offered, no cookies, but…. you’re there for the wildlife! And it was amazing. We saw saltwater crocs, freshwater crocs, brolgas, jabirus, sea eagles, Jesus birds and more. The water lilies and lotus flowers were gorgeous. Evan even picked a lotus for us and offered the seeds to taste. The whole tour was mesmerising. The lunch is not the experience, it’s merely to sustain you during a fabulous wildlife cruise.

Must do in Darwin - Excellent trip. Guide was extremely knowledgeable and delivered great commentary. Evan went out of his way to ensure that we had a wonderful experience. The scenery was spectacular and there was an abundance of wildlife. Plenty of time to take photographs. The side visits on the way to the wetlands cruise were also interesting. The supplied boxed lunch was more than adequate and very good.

Crocs galore! - Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Evan, our guide, made the experience wonderful, with his knowledge of the natural & historical. Great sense of humour too! Absolutely amazing to get so close to Australia's largest apex predator. So glad the boat didn't sink! Maxine & Stuart
