They did a perfect job tailoring the private trip to suit our interests. - Great experience working with Deserttrips for my family's 10 day trip to Morocco in Nov-Dec 2024. from the planning team to our driver Zaid and local tour guides Mohammed and Hassan, it was a smooth and unforgettable trip. We liked the personal attention given to making sure that we enjoyed our excursions and tours. we liked the fact that the tour was totally customizable and that we could add to our itinerary if something interesting came up - like a hot air balloon ride in Marrakech or having a relaxing hammam experience with a stellar massage...cet! We could also alter plans if we needed to take a break from touring or stay at a site a little longer than planned. Everything was expertly handled and we felt safe and secure always. The riads and hotels were perfect for us with meals, excellent service, and attention to detail. I cannot think of one thing we would have changed in this amazing adventure and that is quite a testimony to Deserttrips!! I don’t know when we'll go on another trip, but it will not be without this team by our side. If you ever want a truly great vacation that encompasses everything you ever dreamed of, you must book with them!

You'll be in great hands! - DesertTrips was brilliant from start to finish. We cannot recommend them highly enough. we love everything about this trip! From our driver Saiid and local guides, Mustafa and Mahdi to the food, camels rides, sand boarding, our trip to Morocco was one of our best-ever holidays. The places we visited were above all expectations - Started the trip in Marrakech, then passed through Ouarzazate, Dades Valley, Merzouga Desert, Fes, Chefchaouen, winding up for a few days rest in Casablanca. Our driver Saiid, who was with us for the entire trip, was excellent and really helpful. He's knowledgeable, sensitive to your needs, what to see, the best bathroom stops, and just a very kind man! We were so well looked after and we felt safe in his hands, At every stop we were met with hospitable and knowledgeable local guides and the Riads were TOP NOTCH. The tour was immaculately organized from start to finish we had not 1 complaint about it. We loved it! Not sure how they were able to accomplish this in such a tight time frame but it demonstrates the depth and strength of their relationships and knowledge. I give them high marks and won't hesitate to use them again!

Magic of Morocco Adventures with DesertTrips - When we arrived in Casablanca on our first day in Morocco, we learned that the desert had been hit by extraordinary torrential rains, causing serious flooding. It was a strange feeling, both worry and wonder, knowing that the Sahara, a place I'd always imagined as endless dry sand, was transformed by such rare and powerful forces of nature. Thankfully, by the time we reached the Sahara Desert, much of the water had drained away, though many of the sand dunes had been completely washed out, leaving a landscape reshaped and unfamiliar.
Our private guide, a former nomadic Berber, demonstrated incredible skill as he navigated the sand dunes, with a great sense of direction. With calm precision, he drove us through flooded areas to the fossil mountain, where we had the unexpected thrill of fossil hunting. To top it all off, he surprised us with a visit to a nomadic Berber family, giving us a glimpse into their way of life, a fleeting but intimate moment that left a deep impression. Before we knew it, we were back on our way, crossing to the other side of the Sahara. It was a truly unique experience, filled with a sense of adventure and connection to both the land and its people.
Picture camel treks across the Sahara, thrilling ATV rides, stargazing under the vast desert sky, and a romantic hot air balloon ride, every moment felt like pure magic. At the end we wrapped up our journey with a Moroccan tajine cooking lesson—the perfect ending to an amazing adventure.

Experiencing authentic Morocco - We travelled as a group of 8 which can be challenging for tour operators. However, DesertTrips took care of everything from start to finish and left no stone unturned. Their choice of hotels and Riads were par excellence! Tariq was an excellent, knowledgeable, caring and fun loving tour guide. He made us feel very welcomed and showed authentic parts of Morocco and not just where tourists normally visit. We wanted to eat at local restaurants and Tariq picked the best and safest ones. We had the opportunity to eat with local patrons and experience Moroccan favours. Said, our driver, was very calm and composed. We never felt unsafe or rushed. They were both very willing to help and would not leave our side until we felt comfortable during our journey. I will definitely be referring DesertTrips to anyone who wants to visit Morocco and have an unforgettable and a memorable experience! Their rates are very reasonable which is the icing on the cake!! Again, thank you Tariq and Said for making us feel at home!! We cannot wait to return and explore and experience the deserts of Morocco!

Moroccan adventure - Highly recommended 🤩 - We had the most amazing time with Tariq and Said. From Marrakech to Tangier they navigated our group of 8 with ease despite our various dietary restrictions and physical ability levels. We were shown the gems of each city and were treated to some very authentic experiences. Tariq and Said made us feel at home and treated us all like family. Thank you for everything! We will definitely plan to come back for the desert safari.

Unmatched experience - 10/10 would recommend - We had the BEST time with Tariq and Said. We were a group of 8 with six seniors and two young adults. First of all, Said drives the van like a champion through seemingly tight streets. He was a safe driver and extremely friendly. Second, our guide Tariq was an amazing communicator and was very accommodating with all the specific needs of our group (which were many) through it all, he was patient, knowledgeable and personable. Tariq treated us like his family and made Morocco a home away from home. We got a healthy dose of tourist activities and very good glimpse of the local life.
Personally, I will be returning for another trip to Morocco with Desert Trips, but next time it will surely include the Desert! Thank you Desert Trips, specifically Tariq and Said for an unforgettable trip!

We highly recommend this unforgettable adventure of Morocco! - This trip was more than excellent It was a positive life experience from the moment my husband and I arrived, we were swept away by their attentiveness and genuine passion for their country, our driver/guide Said was so kind and attentive and explained the history of the Berber people of the area Said went out of his way to be sure everyone was having a wonderful time which is very appreciated, the highlight was undoubtedly the Sahara Desert, but each town we visited offered its own unique charm. We stayed in stunning riads within the medinas, where the staff provided exceptional service, and we all miss those breakfasts, but best of all was the warm generous hospitality of the Moroccan people and our guide Said who made this trip extraordinary. We highly recommend Desert Trips for this unforgettable adventure!

Deserttrips team not only delivered on their promise of a trip but a promise of a lifetime - Our trip was expertly planned and perfectly combined. We never realized we had a Moroccan fantasy, but this company turned out to be the key to making it come true. met generous people, ate great food, stayed at gorgeous locations, and experienced memorable events. The itinerary encompassed Marrakech, Dades Valley, Merzouga, Fes, Chefchaouen, and Casablanca. I had never envisioned that this trip would evolve into such a splendid experience, traversing diverse landscapes and patterns. Commencing from the bustling medina (Marrakech Red City), journeying to the filming locations of "Gladiator" at Ait Benhaddou village, and visiting the largest studio in Africa, the Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate, each day held remarkable moments. The 4x4 drive in the Sahara desert was even more fascinating, with the sand rising dramatically from the Erg Chebbi. Riding the camels in the large seas of dunes was wonderful, as they were perfectly cared for. I cherished the campfire accompanied by Amazigh music, stargazing in the desert sky, and watching shooting stars. Overall, I would recommend this tour to anyone, and make sure to ask for Saiid as your driver and tour guide to plan a trip that will change the way you think about travel when the desert calls and when the magic of Moroccan travel calls!

10 day adventure across the imperial cities! - We had the most amazing 10 day tour across the imperial cities! The entire trip from start to finish was not only exciting but super easy. Our driver Said was The BEST, he never failed to anticipate anything we would need was super friendly throughout the trip and had all sorts of tips for us and was very accommodating in terms of communicating what we were doing, but also being flexible if we had other desires! He was also full of wonderful information about the history and culture of the country. This was the first time we had ever booked a tour and I would 100% do it again. I traveled to a bunch of places in the world and usually prefer to plan for myself, but we were busy in the time leading up to the trip - Med and the team were very helpful- it was great to have an a detailed outline of what we would be doing, but also the opportunity to change it if we wanted to! 10/10!
