Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi-n-Tichka – Ouarzazate – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga (Overnight in Desert) 550km
Marrakech - Embark on a 2-day journey from Marrakech to Merzouga. The operator will pick you up from your hotel or riad to begin the adventure. Travel across the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, offering expansive views of the mountains and traditional High Atlas Berber villages. Continue through Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, where the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet begins. In Merzouga, camels await to take you on a thrilling ride through the sand dunes. Spend the night in a desert camp (Nomad Berber tents) with drum music in the heart of the Sahara. Capture stunning photos of the sunset and sunrise. Upon arrival at the camp, climb a high dune to witness the sunset. Overnight stay in nomad tents in the Merzouga desert.
Day 2: Camel Trekking back to Merzouga – Atlas Mountains – Return to Marrakech 550km
Merzouga - After witnessing the sunrise in the desert, return to Merzouga on camels. Enjoy breakfast and a shower at the hotel before starting the journey back to Marrakech. Travel through the Berber villages of the Atlas Mountains (Tinjdad, Todra Gorges, Boumalne Dades) before arriving in Marrakech.
