Toubkal base camp - Toubkal Summit - Imlil Village - Marrakech
Toubkal - After a 5:30 a.m. breakfast, we’ll climb Toubkal. Seasonally, mountain trails change. Winter’s shorter, steeper course takes 3 to 4 hours. Near the top, there are several challenging areas that demand consideration, but our advice will help you avoid risky approaches.
Imlil - From the summit, you can see the Atlas Mountains and Berber villages. The vistas will make you forget the climb’s challenges. Sub-zero temperatures at the peak will quickly drain camera batteries in the winter. We’ll rest for an hour at Toubkal refuge, then climb back to Imlil.
Marrakech - You’ll meet your driver and drive back to Marrakech. Atlas Treks Morocco’s 2-day Toubkal trek ends.

Embark on an exciting ascent of Mount Toubkal, allowing you to discover the stunning locations within the High Atlas Mountains. Traverse the Haouz Plains on your way to Imlil Village, proceed to Toubkal passing Sidi Shamharouch, and journey up to Toubkal shelter.
The majestic Jebel Toubkal is North Africa’s highest point. This journey starts in Marrakech and concludes in Imlil. Here, you meet with a local guide and mule handlers. After being welcomed with tea at a guesthouse, you’ll hike to the Toubkal Base camp with our guide. The following day, you’ll hike to the peak of Toubkal mountain, have lunch at the refuge, before being driven back to Marrakech.
