Amazing trip - Great experience. We started the trip with a group of people who booked a day tour around touristic attractions. I'm not sure if there was a mistake but we might have gotten in the wrong car by accident. Our tour operator Redouane (Red Oun) quickly and smoothly fixed this and we got dropped at Imlil where there was a guide waiting for us. Our guide Abde was a very nice man with a lot of knowledge about the area. We could choose whatever we wanted to see and he showed us around. The guesthouse where we were sleeping provided us with a good breakfast and delicious Maroccan diners every time again. I would definately recommend this trip to any sportive person/couple. We will come back to climb the Toubkal next year!

Awesome Atlas Mountains experience - Our trip trekking the Atlas Mountains was incredible. We had a guide to ourselves (Mohamed) and he was so kind, knowledgeable and generous. He set a great pace for us to follow and showed us a true Berber experience. The roads we stayed in exceeded our expectations as well as their hospitality. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to explore this beautiful part of the world.

Favorite experience in Morocco - Booked a last minute 3-day Atlas Mountains trek not knowing what to expect. Ended up being my most memorable activity in Morocco! My 3-day trek had a mix of 2-and-3 day tours. We were a small group of 7 and then 3 for the final 24 hours. Our guide Marwan was wonderful: attentive, considerate, accommodating to everyone's different pace and friendly. He led us on a 50 km hike up and over mountain passes. Mohammed was our group's talented cook who would hike in front with the mule and our bags and have a fresh, warm meal awaiting us. I can't describe how lovely it was to drink hot mint tea and eat warm, healthy tagine in the middle of a gorgeous mountain range! Very basic accommodation, but there was hot water in both locations. Wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring warm layers as it's very cold at night (you are provided plenty of blankets!). If you enjoy hiking, want to see the wonders of the Atlas range and are craving a break from the hustle and bustle of Morocco's main cities - HIGHLY recommend this tour. And try to get in Marwan's group :)

We would suggest this... - We would suggest this tour, because the landscape is very beautifull. Also our guide Abraham was very nice and we had a lot of fun with him. But the lunch, that we have to pay seperate was very expensive and wasn't wprth the money. Half the price would already be enough.

Nice and little challenging hike - A nice tour around the atlas mountains. Not really for the beginners as it can be challenging sometimes but the view is worth the effort. Our gide (Omar) was the best and very enthousiastic. He told us all about life in the berber villages and about the mountains. A negative about the trip that lunch was not included, but everywhere we went there was a tajine waiting for us so we thought that was a mistake in the description. But at the end we had to pay 60 dirham per meal. And after the last lunch we were rushed into the van back and they tried to give us back to little charge after paying. But overall a really great experience and would recommend it. But take some warm clothes and hiking shoes with you!

Mixed feelings - We booked the 3 days trek. The first two days we hiked to the neighboring valley which was amazing. The landscapes were beautiful and our guide Mohammed was happy to share his knowledge. On the evening of the second day we returned to imlil and the third day consisted of the visit of the waterfall (very touristy). The hikes are quite short with lots of breaks (total distance 33km and total elevation gain 1650m) There were no mules so you will have to carry your own luggage. This seemed to apply to all clients. The food was generally really good except the first lunch which was disgusting. For lunch they charged 70 dirhams per person. We really enjoyed the first two days of the trek but overall felt a bit cheated.

BUYER BEWARE: - This trip is not at all as advertised. While the guides are great, the company is deceitful and poorly organized. Though we enjoyed our trip with our guide, IT IS NOT A THREE DAY/TWO NIGHT TREK. there are no donkeys. You must buy your own water. The company neglects to communicate with you. We expected to go on a three day, two night trek through multiple valleys as advertised. This is what happened instead: In advance of the trip we were given no information on pick-up time/location nor what to pack. When we finally located our shuttle, we were taken on the same itinerary as two people there for a single day tour, then left to our own devices in imlil by 3pm after being shown a guest house and told to pay 70 dirham for lunch. We tried to contact the company multiple times about the confusion and received no response. ???? The next day we did half of the itinerary (no donkey, water not included) and spent the night in a guest house, then returned to imlil on the third day by a different trail. Overall, the guides were great. But if you choose to book with this company, I recommend contacting them early and often to ensure they actually deliver what they promise.
