From Marrakech to Fez, 3 wonderful days together - Magnificent and unforgettable desert experience thanks to this very serious agency and our Guide/driver Ahmed! Very kind, super prepared and originally from a local Berber family, he was able to tell us every detail of the places we visited always answering our questions and curiosities! Very flexible also in requests and visits, we could see some very interesting and local extras (like Kasbah Amridil, gorgeous!) on Recommendation of Amhed and never choice was more apt. We met the people who take care of the restoration of the place and it was nice to get in touch with them. For 3 days he accompanied us far and wide on our tour from Marrakech to Merzouga and then to Fez, leaving us and then picking us up the next morning to spend the night in the desert tented camp. Also this beautiful, managed with great care and attention. Definitely Recommendation their services to everyone and we will turn to them again when we have to return, we will definitely ask for Ahmed! A big thank you from your Italian friends Denise and Horace! (Fatima and Mohammed the Berber names Ahmed gave us)

Two weeks trip in Morocco - We recently returned from an incredible two week adventure Morocco and it was absolutely amazing. We decided for Morocco Excursions and it was the best decision we could have made. All our expectations were exceeded due to Omar, our guide and driver and Hassan the Organisator of the tour. Omar made the trip exceptional from the very first moment when he picked us up in Marrakesh until the very last. He provided us with a great car, had super driving skills and always stopped whenever we wanted to see a site and answered all of our countless questions with patients and expertise. We learn so much about culture and the landscape. Thanks a lot for this wonderful experience.

3 busy but awesome days - We (three friends) just had an amazing three days with so much packed in that it felt like a week! The changing terrain, the history, the new experiences (camels! Dunes, monkeys, 1000yr old buildings and more) - everything was so fun and interesting. The one who really made the experience amazing for us was our guide, Mohammed. What a kind and knowledgeable guy. He answered our million questions and thought of everything. For three mum’s, it was nice to have someone else think about bathroom breaks and snacks for us for a change! Thank you, Mohammed!

An amazing experience with a local flair! - Very professional and responsive tour company offering great value with impeccable customer service. Vehicles are clean and modern with working air conditioning. Our driver Mohammed was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating and spoke fluent English. Overnight accommodations are top notch (4+). Desert Camp is well appointed with excellent cuisine. (Getting up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes is a once in a lifetime experience.) We never felt rushed or commercially exploited on our many stops along the route and got to see and experience the country from a uniquely local perspective. In the highly competitive market of moroccan desert tours, this company is a hidden gem.

Amazing Experience - This is my second time using Morocco excursions for a trip, and it was even better than I remembered. The coordinator was helpful and very accommodating when our plans changed last minute. Our guide Omar was very kind helpful and made sure we were comfortable. I would definitely use Morocco excursions again for n any future trips to Morocco.

Highly recommended - Highly recommended, we had a 3 days private tour with the guide Lhoucine who was super, extremly supportive and kind to accomodate all our family requests. Unique experiences, funny people and nice memories. As a final tip, as also suggested by them, consider the 4-days tour if you have enough days otherwise the last day will be spent only driving. All in all, a 5 stars experience

Once in a lifetime trip enhanced by a personalized guide - To clarify, we opted for a personalized 4-day tour from Marrakech to Fes and booked directly through Morocco Excursions' website. Hassan reached out to us promptly and agreed to the itinerary changes, offered us a standard option and a luxury option, then re-confirmed the new itinerary (very thorough). RECOMMENDATION: Spend extra time in Todra Gorge (at least 3 hours) taking in the scale and beauty of the area. We spent about an hour and slept the night before at Ksar Sultan Dades near Dades Gorge. After talking, we would've pushed on to Todra to sleep near the Gorge there so we could've had more time in the morning... it's gorgeous, as is the town nearby. We opted for the private transfer for the two of us. Our driver, Mohammed, was awesome! He was very polite and professional, dealt with local vendors and warded off the ones who otherwise would've likely kept pursuing us to buy something. He stopped at all the best lookouts and managed to stay away from the crowds at the same time. He is from the Merzouga area, so he knew his way around the desert and how to interact with the locals in that area (he even had several childhood friends he ran into along the way, and we were happy to extend our pit stops so he could spend time with them). He also takes really good pictures, and shared the music responsibilties with us. And he did all of this so politely while near the end of Ramadan. Once in the desert, he transferred us to our camp hosts, who were very accommodating as well. Never did get the name of the camp, but according to our hosts, the majority of the luxury camps are more or less the same (private bathrooms, showers, good meals, visually appealing camp setup, sandboards, camels, etc). Mohammed did come pick us up after our first night for our day 2 desert excursions, and brought us to an authentic Berber nomad camp, sitting with us and a couple of the little kids to share a tea (a very special experience indeed). RECOMMENDATION: - Spend 2 nights in the desert: 1 simply is not enough to explore the dunes AND the surrounding Black Desert. - If you have excursions planned from the camp, ensure you know who is transporting you. There was a minor breakdown in communication about who was going to be taking us around outside of camp, but Mohammed quickly came to our rescue. - Buy the headdress, and wear it in the desert. It'll keep you cool, it'll protect you from sun and sand, it's not culturally appropriating, and it supports local vendors which ultimately puts food on the table. The last stretch was the drive to Fes, which was a looooong day. But Mohammed made stops in all the right places for us. We stopped at a restaurant where Anthony Bourdain visited outside of main Midelt, and also requested some extra time in Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco) which was a very interesting contrast from the desert we had left only hours prior. We saw the monkeys in mountains (felt like we were in NorCal), but to be honest felt bad after since we learned the peanuts the locals give them will probably give the monkeys all kinds of health and social problems. Mohammed again warded off the pushy picture takers and made it a very enjoyable experience. RECOMMENDATION: - Plan a quick stop @ Al Hassan Addakhil National Park. The mountain formations and turquoise blue waters are breathtaking. - If the Bourdain stop doesn't appeal to you, get out in Midelt and walk around a bit. Midelt and Ifrane are much more modern and it starts to feel like the European countryside mixing with Muslim culture... truly interesting to experience. - Do some of your homework ahead of time on where you'll be stopping and passing through. Mohammed speaks several languages including English, and he's more than happy to answer questions, but if there's something specific you want more info about it can't hurt to be read up ahead of time. Mohammed got us as close to our Dar in Fes as he could, and even spent the evening after having dropped us off giving us recommendations on places to eat and see in Fes. He really did make this a personal experience for us. We loved having him as our driver. FINAL RECOMMENDATION: Bring cash for tips, experiences, etc. Probably couldn't hurt to have a small fortune in 10DH coins for small tips (dinners, cabs, camel guides, etc). But for Mohammed or whoever your driver ends up being, make sure to tip them well... they more than deserve it!

Unexpectedly perfect. - We did the 3 day tour from Marrakech to the desert and everything was perfect. We didn't have to think about anything, they take care of everything and they do it with excellent organization and tranquility. Mohammed, our driver chose the most relevant places, letting us decide what we preferred to see or not, advising us on what was worth it and above all avoiding tourist traps and unnecessary expenses. They even let us sleep in the luxury tents even though we hadn't paid for them because they weren't occupied (lucky). We would definitely return for even longer tours. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
