Day 1: Marrakech
Marrakech - pick you up from your Hotel in Marrakech at 7:30, and departure to Ait Benhaddou over the high Atlas Mountains; passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260m), visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and stop for lunch in a local restaurant. In the Afternoon we will drive to Ouarzazate and stop near the atlas film studios…
Day 1: Marrakech
Marrakech - pick you up from your Hotel in Marrakech at 7:30, and departure to Ait Benhaddou over the high Atlas Mountains; passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260m), visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and stop for lunch in a local restaurant. In the Afternoon we will drive to Ouarzazate and stop near the atlas film studios for a photo then continue to the city center for a panoramic view of the kasbah of Taourirt. After that you will head to Boumalne du Dades for a night.Dinner and overnight in the Hotel
Tizi n Tichka - Our first stop will be at a view point Tizi N Tichka (2260m high) the highest point of Atlas Mountains accessible by car, with panoramic views of the breathtaking landscape with Berber villages
Ait Ben Haddou - At midday you’ll arrive to the famous fortified city of Ait BenHaddou - the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. Travel back in time with our local official guide taking you around the kasbah. The Ksar of Aït-Ben-Haddou is a striking example of southern Moroccan architecture. Listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site, it has also been the backdrop for many Hollywood productions. Films and TV series that have used the services of the studio include The Mummy, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Babel, Game of Thrones, Vikings and many more.
Boumalne Dades - Our journey then continues through the picturesque canyons of Boumalne Dades, passing the Valley of Roses and stopping at our local accommodation located in Gorges Dades Valley. Traditional dinner will be followed by the beating of Berber drums.
