Action packed teenage family adventure - We joined our superb guide Salem on our four day/three night tour to Merzouga - from start to finish this was a fantastic activity filled few days. We are a family of four with teenage children and would highly recommend. Salem took us to so many different destinations on route to Merzouga and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time. The journey times are long but we stopped regularly and had great food. We would definitely recommend two nights in the desert and taking an additional tour of the sand dunes, local area and quad biking with the guide. We will definitely return and not hesitate to book with Sahara Tours again.

Merzouga is sooo worth it - The desert views are amazing! You get to ride camels and drive around in atvs around the dunes. We also got to do some sane boarding. Ahmed is super friendly and helpful. The accomodations in the desert were super nice and fancy - well equipped beautiful tents. They provided dinner and breakfast which was really nice and then got to sit around a bonfire and listen to local music. We almost decided on another destination . But I’m sooo glad we picked Merzouga ( as advised by our guide) . It was the highlight of our trip

I would recommend this tour to everyone visiting Morocco! - I would recommend this tour to everyone visiting Morocco! Ahmed and Zaed were very fun, light hearted, funny, and amazing tour guides. My group of 10 people was picked up from the airport in Marrakesh. The van was spacious and comfortable with A/C and charging ports. Ahmed and Zaed enjoyed singing along to Bob Marley with us. The tour was packed with great food, beautiful views, and fun activities. The highlight was definitely the camel tour and night spent in the Sahara desert with live music and a fire! Definitely check this out if you are in Marrakesh! P.S. Ahmed and Zaed made sure we felt safe the whole time.

Great tour and beautiful scenery recommended! - Great experience for our private tour. Long 7-8 hours drive to the desert from Marrakech but Salem our driver was great and friendly! We stopped on the way for several photos and local souvenir spots. Picked us up on time and communicated well in whatsapp. At the camp, food and dinner were provided to which were traditional Moroccan dishes. Lunch was not included, but you can pay for a buffet (drinks included) 120 mad each. Highlight of the trip was the camel ride and quad bike (500 mad extra for quad bike) in the desert. Stunning scenery.

Mixed bag sadly mainly due to dangerous driver. - Pros - amazing Sahara dessert, camels and great tour guides at the 2 main stops. Food was fairly ok, although first day lunch wait of 1.5 hours. Luxury camp quite nice but shower just a trickle...but to have anything in the dessert is impressive! First night accommodation was backpacker style but quite fun. Cons - On day three we were told to meet for breakfast at 4am , leave at 4.30, but we didn't leave until 5.30 so lots of hanging about in the cold. The driver was DANGEROUS. He drove recklessly for 3 days, continually trying to overtake. He only wore his seatbelt when the police stopped him. He played local music LOUDLY despite our requests to turn it down. He spoke no English at all so we had no idea what was happening each day or when we would be stopping. I think from other reviews we were unlucky with him. When we stopped at local places, those guides spoke English thankfully. It was a miracle we made it back alive.......but we loved the Sahara!

Abusive / Harassing Situation with Ahmed - The tour's guide (Ahmed) morally harassed me. In the end of the trip, he forced me to write 5 star reviews on TripAdvisor and Get Your Guide. He was even watching my phone as I was typing. This was a very abusive behaviour. I hated it. I already deleted the previous review. Besides, he was constantly smelling like tabacco, crossing continuous road lines, beeping to cars and people, not letting people cross the walkways, and playing the same songs in the car, over and over again. The toilet and some lights of my tent in the desert were not working. They put the rice on the table in the beggining of the dinner, so it got cold very fast. In my hotel of the tour, my bedroom was smelling like tabacco and the Wi-Fi was constantly failling. So, I do NOT recommend this trip at all. I HATED it!
