You get your money’s and then some! - Guide Brahim and driver Hicham took great care of us. The trip was well organised and surpassed our expectations. Many extra stops for information about the Berber culture, agriculture and so on. The hotel and the tent was really nice. The food as well, I’m a vegetarian and they fixed good food for me. This trip is really worth the money! We had an amazing time and the camel ride was unforgettable.

A must-do if you are visiting Morocco (Aziz and Hisham made the experience even better) - The three day trip was full of adventures with crisp introduction to the Moroccan culture. The drive from Marakech to the desert camp was well planned with regular stops. We opted for quad-bike ride ( which is extra cost) in the desert and that was the highlight of the trip. The locations where we stopped whether during the camel ride or quad bike ride or drive from Marakech were well chosen to give the best experience possible. Overall, Aziz and Hisham made sure that we have the best possible experience. They are terrific at their jobs and we were lucky to have them as our tour guide and driver. Aziz went beyond his responsibilities to tend to our requests.

Aziz and Hicham are the best! - Overall it was a fantastic experience. Our tour guide Aziz and the driver Hicham were fantastic. Walk in the gorge, and the night stay in the Merzouga desert that included quad bike and camel rides were the highlights. The camp site had fantastic dinner and bone fire + music afterwards. We stayed in the luxury camps which was totally worth it. The bus rides were a lot but they were sufficient numbers of stops.

Amazing 3 days of fun - More than worth the money spent - Absolutely amazing 10/10 experience. Our guide Hassan and our driver Mustafa were warm, accommodating, and made the whole experience feel safe and fun with their knowledge of the people and towns. Early mornings and late nights, it was sunrises, sunsets, and stargazing on the last night in the desert. The tour group itself was an absolute treat. Everyone wanted to share stories, make friends, and be social. By the last day everyone was planning a dinner for the return to Marrakech. Accommodations were comfortable with outlets, warm blankets, and hot showers. All the provided food was good moroccan fare Lots of opportunities for souvenirs to be purchased but Hassan made sure to let us know that we were not obligated to buy anything and any of our stops. Recommendations: Bring warm clothes + several light layers! hats, gloves, fleeces, puffer, wool socks. the desert is very cold at night and very hot during the day. Each day started and ended with a jacket, scarf and gloves, but by midday your down to a light cotton shirt and searching for shade. Thank you thank you thank you to Hassan, Mustafa and the many other people who made this experience the best it could’ve been! 💕💕💕

Desert was incredible but don't ride the camels! - This tour was amazing (mostly! I will explain my 1 star rating in a moment). But first, the Erg Chebbi desert was incredible. Definitely worth venturing out to on this 3 day tour as opposed to the standard 2 day tours that go to a closer less-impressive desert from Marrakech. You also visit some incredible sights on the way - Togdra Gorge for example was amazing. The lunches were good but quite expensive for Morocco (About 120dh a meal and they're set prices so you don't get to choose. Usually lunch would be about 40/50dh for context.) I would also recommend the rug shop stop is shortened. We were sat there for an awkwardly long time with an almost expectation for someone to buy a rug (they're lovely but expensive and I don't think many of the people on this relatively affordable trip will have that sort of money). The reason my review is only 1 star is because the treatment of the camels was awful. I haven't had an animal welfare encounter that's scarred me like this before but I won't ever forget this unfortunately. The camels are tied together in lines of about 5 or 6 (standard for Morocco). Then you're asked to get on and sometimes they'll grunt a bit as they get up (again, pretty standard camel behaviour) but the one at the back of our group was substantially smaller and literally screamed as anyone walked towards it. They literally made our group get on regardless and held the poor animal down while it screamed and cried out as tourists got on it's back. Before anyone tells me camels don't cry, I've seen a lot of them over my last month in Morocco and this wasn't normal. It was quite obvious that this one was too young and small to be ridden. It was clearly in pain and had probably been taken away from it's mother far too young. I tried to speak to the people in charge of the camels as I was understandly quite upset by what I'd witnessed but they simply laughed and said "are you animal doctor?" - No, no I'm not. But you don't need to be a vet to know when an animal is crying out in pain. It's still possible to do this trip without riding a camel. You can get an ATV - We did this on the way back and it was great! You could even hike it if they let you and I really wish I'd insisted on this. So I'm leaving a one star review to encourage the tour providers to improve their animal welfare and give people an option to NOT ride a camel both there and back as it really ruined my experience and is a memory that will haunt me forever.
