A journey through the desert. - TL;DR Book this trip. You will make capture many amazing memories and learn a good amount of history. Youssef (Joseph) is a stylish guide who shares so much about the layers of history held in the valleys, canyons, mountains and deserts. Sala the driver was safe and efficient - ask him about the paper CDs. Both are extremely friendly, respectful and ensure a memorable experience, and together they quite possibly know everyone in the country. Plan this trip in the beginning of your stay and let it inspire your future adventures in Morocco. You will learn a dash of Berber and a pinch of Arabic, haggle and barter for beautiful handmade carpets (props if you can negotiate for ‘the couscous rug’). The food is familiar and tasty, I highly recommend the Berber salad at the second lunch and the tajine at the camp is delicious - surprisingly the best of our trip. There are dromedary (one hump domesticated camels) once you finally make it out to the Marzuga dunes. Pick a cute one and scratch them behind the ridge of their head or along their snout. If you are brave (or have main character syndrome), you can try to ride ‘Scar’ a giant lead dromedar with gnarled battle scars all over his neck and body - he is the makes the deepest mouth blurble sounds and does not like to be touched… Once in the desert, the stars and planets are completely visible and long exposure photos will look amazing. The sunsets and sunrises are beautiful and full of colors. So was it worth the cost? Yes, these are Berber prices and your guides will make sure you get easily two of three times your moneys worth compared to trying to do this on your own. The ride from Marrakech out to Marzuga is a long one, but there are plenty of stops to explore Berber coops, ancient kasbahs, olive groves, and more. The days start early and are all well worth it. This is an amazing experience for a first time to the deserts of Morocco. Thanks for reading.

Sahara desert - An incredible 3-day adventure from Marrakech to Merzouga! The tour was well-organized, with breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains, a visit to the stunning Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, and an exciting stop at Todra Gorges. we had Yousef as our guide and Salah as our driver they were both beyond the expectations, Riding camels through the Sahara at sunset and spending the night in a Berber camp under the stars was unforgettable. The sunrise over the dunes made the early wake-up worth it, and the optional sandboarding was a fun bonus. Whether you choose standard or luxury camping, this tour offers the perfect mix of culture, adventure, and relaxation. Highly recommend!

Desert experience - Yousef was a fantastic tour guide and Salah was a good driver. I would recommend this tour with this company. A must when visiting Morocco. The sandboarding and quad bikes in the sahara really added to the whole experience. would happily book this tour again. Thanks again Yousef!

Magical - So much fun. Saw so many different parts of Morocco from the Atlas Mountains to the desert. The desert is such a unique experience. Genuinely cannot believe what you get for your money with this tour, it’s so much and completely worth the travelling that is broken up with stops in interesting places or for food.

Nice but be prepared for a lot of time in the car! - What we liked: - the group (other tourists) were a mixed bunch and it created a good atmosphere - the bus, hotel and the dessert camp were clean - well organised with clear pick up instructions and agenda for the trip What we didn’t like: - parts felt like we were jus taken to places to buy stuff/be sold to, rather than real experiences - bus was very hot, despite air conditioning, which made the journey difficult (there is a lot of driving involved over the 3 days) - most of the people from the group got food poisoning from the buffet place we had lunch at on the last day - had a small incident regarding water prices, where the guide told us not to stock up as water will be available at the dessert camp, and when we got there they wanted to charge double the price. It was sorted but it left a bit of a bad feeling - felt like the guide wasn’t honest.
