Cooperative Marjana (ARGAN OIL) - You will get picked up at your hotel in Marrakech to make your way to Essaouira. As the landscape’s changing from crowded city to relaxing fields you will find one very special tree. An argan tree that is covered with goats eating the fruits of the tree.
The area around Essaouira is famous for argan trees and argan products.
Shortly after the tree you will be able to visit a women cooperation, ruled by women, to learn more about what you can produce with argan fruits.

Medina of Essaouira - You will arrive around noon at the Medina of Essaouira. After checking in your luxury Riad you can design the rest of the day as you please.
A city tour around the Medina will show you more about the historic sites of the city. Definetly try the fresh fish at the port of Essaouira.
As the city is ruled by berbers you find beautiful handmade carpets and other artifacts.
