Marrakech - Departure early morning from your riad/hotel in Marrakech and travel through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tichka Pass (2260 m) the highest road pass in Morocco offering spectacular panoramic views of the mountains and valleys with a snaky road, beautiful landscapes with different colors and the Berber villages along the way. M’Hamid - To the rhythm of the sun, the bivouac retreats. Departure towards “HNANISH”, through the rocky plateaus. Lunch near a Tamarisk. At the end of the afternoon, we set up the bivouac at “la Hananesh”. Night in the Sahara desert in a tent, or under the stars
LAST DAY TREK
M’Hamid - Itinerary ContentTrek and lunch in the desert. Return to M’hamid at the end of the afternoon via the sacred oasis. Night at the inhabitant in the village (or fixed bivouac).
MHAMID-MARRAKECH
Marrakech - Early morning departure from your guest-house, to re-trace the journey north to Marrakech (as per Day 1). Expect to arrive at your riad/hotel in Marrakech late afternoon
